*edit* Brunch is back!!! And as always is absolutely fantastic!! Homemaker corn beef hash, and many other fan favorites! All at... a solid price! ???????????? Always a great meal, atmosphere, and serving/ bar staff! And the owners are awesome too!! They doalot of entertainment, trivia nights (with meal deals! ), and all sorts of other specials that pull people in from all over! I’ve gone here a lot for there food. There food is great. But service is awful. My waiter messed up basically everything on my... order and the manager was only willing to refund me 75cents. Never in my life did I not get a discount when the restaurantitself messed up your food. Then when I ask why she won’t discount the food due to there mess up she said I can’t justdiscount food for that. Very disrespectful. Read more
We've been here for lunch on multiple visits to Ware. The servers have been really helpful, friendly, and on top of things. The... food, however, has been right on the edge of "okay" -- sometimes better than okay, and sometimes a lot worse. My wife has founda couple of dishes that she likes, but that hasn't been the case for me. I find the prices extraordinarily high for what aresometimes small portions that are hastily plated, uninteresting, and flavorless. As one example, the fish and chips cost threetimes as much as you would pay anywhere else in Europe, Canada, or the U.S.A., and yet they serve are about half the portion atone third the quality you would receive in any of those other places. My wife and I do agree, however, that the side of coleslawwith that dish is very tasty. The kitchen also does not seem interested in "meeting a customer where they are." If you have anyfeedback or concerns about your food -- or want it to be redone they way you initially asked when ordering, rather than thedefault results from the kitchen -- you will be asked to pay for a redo. That's pretty unacceptable in my experience, but italigns with my final conclusions about what Hanna Devine's primary concerns appear to be (see last paragraph of thisreview). On a more positive note, food does come out very quickly from the kitchen, and the alcoholic beverages are generouslypoured. Judging by high prices and low quality ingredients used in dishes and beverages at Hanna Devine's, I get the distinctimpression that maximizing profits with substandard fare is a primary objective of this business, and that customer concerns orrequests simply don't matter. I could of course be wrong, as other reviewers clearly have not had the same experience, butall-in-all this restaurant has left an unpleasant taste in my mouth. Read more
We live in holden and we love this place that much. We drive out every few months for the food and the kindness. Yesterday we... finally end up meeting the owner. He is so nice. Can't wait for another great experience like we had yesterday. Thank you toeveryone who works there Read more
Always a great meal and friendly service. $5.00 cheese pizza night which my daughter ordered. My Clam chowder was tasty, but the... broth was not as thick as i prefer. The Quabbin Conbo was cooked exactly as ordered and was very filling. The beet and goatcheese salad was nicely plated and a very large serving. Read more
This was our first time stopping in for dinner. Very happy we did. We didn't have reservations on a Friday night but the hostess... was able to seat us quickly. There was live music in the bar. Our waitress, Meghan was top notch. She takes pride in her workand it shows. Very attentive as well as friendly. For apps, we tried the fried brussel sprouts, buffalo chicken, and homemademeatballs. All 3 were great. For the entree, I had the fried scallops which were cooked well with a generous portion. My wifehad the goat cheese and beet salad. So far so good wings are amazing and perogies are on point. Plus the beer is cold! Shepard's pie is really good can use a little... more seasonings but over all is really good. Steak tips are awesome and the mashed has really good flavor infused. Over all 7.8out of 10. Wait times for sauce's and drinks varied but over all good place to dine out. Read more
Careful on lunch menu. 1 price of fish (4 or 6 ounce) and a plate full of fries. I know for next time and yes we will be back
