The staff was great, but the food just wasn't that great. The guacamole served with our meals was borderline foul in flavor,... tainting the meal. It could have just been a bad batch, but considering the price of the meal, we won't be back. If you are aMexican food fan, there are better options out there. Read more
In order to check this place out, we ordered a Chile relleno, a taco, a tamale, a chimichanga, and an enchilada. First- the... chips were good. They are thick chips and not the super-thin addictive kind. The salsa is likely from a can/jar but tasty. Therelleno was wrapped in a batter-like container which was thick and overwhelmed what as actually a very good poblano pepper. Thetaco was a very solid taco with a crisp shell, flavorful pork, and cold tomatoes and lettuce. The tamale was great; we had beefand it was good. The chimichanga was not awesome. The enchilada was good. Service was good? clean place, decor wasCaucasian-Mexican with a few Catrinas and sombreros. Would go again. 4 instead of 5 just because it was not authentic. Butclose! I ordered the Carne Asada and it was very dry. The meat was very thin and had almost no seasoning while being cooked very well... done. The rice on the side was also very dry, and the lettuce with tomatoes was not much of a help to the meal. The tortillawith beans and cheese was delicious, but that?s about it. I drove over 45 minutes to get takeout. Wasn?t sure if the food was going to be good. After every member in my family took their... first bite the facial expressions were priceless. The food was SO good. By far the best food I?ve ever eaten. The customerservice was phenomenal. As I stood and waited for my turn in line every individual working that walked by me spoke with a giantsmile on their face. If I could eat there every day of the week I would. We had lunch here today. We were very impressed with the overall experience. The staff were friendly and the service was the... best we have had in a very long time. The food was exceptional!! The Chili Colorado was delicious. The portion sizes weregenerous. The atmosphere was fun. We are excited to have found a new go to place to eat. Read more
