I just finished my 2pc catfish dinner--not the "deluxe." This was the most disappointing meal I've ever eaten from Captain Ds. ... I waited for 40 minutes to give my order. The young lady taking my order was pleasant. I had to pull over and wait another 8minutes. When I got home and opened my box, I couldn't believe my eyes. $10 for 2 tiny pieces of greasy fish which was NOTfresh. They weighed about 4-5 ounces together--im serious.. 3-4 inches, @ 1/3" thick.i will not go back to that Captain Dsagain. Rip-off. Read more

The food is incredible, but the workers obviously don't want to be there. Girl that took our order could not have been more rude... if you paid her to. Didn't even say can I take your order, was greeted to a "yeah". Didn't even acknowledge my order, just said$32.47. I guess they don't pay good, or hire the bottom of the barrel workers. I've been here twice over the past two weeks, at different times of the day and different days of the week. On both occasions,... the food was excellent, the orders were accurate and the customer service was even better! That said, just know that if you go,and there is even one car in front of you, you can expect to be in the drive-thru easily 10 mins. Not a knock on the service,just an observation. Read more
Captain D's... Oh my goodness. How I missed thee!!! I went back for the first time since the pandemic lifted and I must say I... was not disappointed. The food was still fresh and hot. I love Captain D's fries there are no other like them but you have toeat them while they're hot and fresh or fresh and hot however you want to put it. I also love what I call the little crunchiesthat fall to the bottom after the fish has been fried. I always ask for extra. And I must say their hush puppies are to die for.Well not literally I don't want to die for them but they are excellent. I also ordered five extras of those. I went to thedrive-thru and I must compliment the guy working drive through. He was funny and very nice, very accommodating even when myadult daughter could not make up her mind. By now he should have had his first daughter congratulations brother. And being fromthe south I should know better than to order fish on Fridays. The line was backed up but it was moving it was well worth thewait. I don't know if restaurants realize that if you get good customer service most patrons don't feel robbed when the wait maybe long and the prices increase.
