This is TRUE SOUL FOOD!!!! These people know EXACTLY what to do with some food!!!! The seasoning is that of perfection to allow... those who are salt-lovers to add salt & regular seasoning lovers like me, to enjoy the meal as it is! The staff are friendly &the atmosphere makes you feel that you?re at a family member?s home; even while standing in a Sunday line to get in, you canenjoy meeting & conversing with friendly, interesting, new people! Pros: chicken/potato salad & yams was good . Nice friendly people; cakes are tasty; black owned Cons: greens were a little... disappointing. Not sure if they were holding back on the salt since majority of their customers are older people. If you don?tcall in your order you will have to stand in a long line outside. You are a little costly for the small amount of food that youserve. 2. The food was spot on! It was my first time going there the motorcycle club hosted a Thanksgiving dinner.and I tell you the food... hit me like a surprise. It was so good. Whoever is cooking is putting their soul in it I tell you that much. The service fromthe staff was really good they were very pleasant and patient with us yesterday. The place is kind of small if that matters tosome. Not sure what the price point is like because our meal was sponsored but I would most definitely go back again! Read more
