This is typical of how War town is, I waited 20 minutes to order at 8:30 pm it wasn't busy and there was enough staff standing... around to wait on all customers. Not sure whats going on but everything has changed. I received the hardest biscuit and sausage patty ever. There was no clue... to these changes on the menu, but the patty is now square and definitely a different type of meat vs what used to be sold. They now fry the egg instead of scramble like in the past. Ive seen the hash rounds change 2 times in the past year. Ordered a Royale from here 2 days ago and got food poisoning!!! Two days of work that I?ve missed because someone didn?t take... proper care of the food somewhere in the process of making it. I?ve eaten at this location once before and the first time itwas okay. Not great, but not bad either. Though I love steak and shake in general. The food was very good. The restaurant was very clean. The service on the other hand, was absolutely perfect. It quite... literally could not have been any better. I use to work here and I thought the food and service was what I remembered. I went through the drive thru and ordered #1 the... young man at the window was nice. I got my food and the fries were cold so I immediately handed them back through the window.While waiting, I looked at the stkbuger w/cheese. All was cold, so I pulled up and went to ask for my money back. The young ladyinformed me they don't give refunds. So I asked for the manager, Craig came up and reiterated the no refund policy or I couldget a gift card. We went back and forth, he refused to give me my money back. He remade my order and insisted I take it. I putit right in the trash. I will NEVER eat at Steak n Shake again!!! Read more
