The Hopkins Inn is a wonderful place for a holiday meal. They have a prix fixe menu with several salad/appetizer options,... multiple entrees to satisfy every palate, and tasty desserts. The meal is served with the protein and a couple of sides andthen staff brings multiple vegetables around for family style service. It's crowded but warm and cozy and the staff is alwaysfriendly. Book early for a daytime spot with stunning views of the lake. Regular service is just as good - you can't go wrongwith a meal at the Hopkins Inn. Read more

We really enjoyed the inn but we stayed Sunday night until Monday and no breakfast or coffee was available and I have never... stayed at an inn without Breakfast. Just Coffee and Danish would be enough. Had to drive 20 minutes to Kent to get breakfast andCoffee. Also I feel Shower Head should be mounted on the wall for room 15 but otherwise a wonderful time here. Food was good fordinner too. Read more

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff friendly, location excellent, rooms traditional, and proximity to vineyard was a bonus.... Plenty to do in the area including picturesque hikes and small towns to visit. Nice long weekend. Read more

My dad took my family and I here when I was a little boy. The quality of food, service and atmosphere has stayed consistent and... never floundered in the 45 years that I've been coming. Can't say the same thing for any other restaurant that I know of.Definitely my favorite restaurant of all time! The pictures of what we had tonight: Appetizers were delicious Mussels & Clamscasino, for dinner I had Rahmschnitzel, mom had mixed seafood special and my friend had the seared tuna Caesar salad. This was an excellent location to celebrate a loved ones milestone birthday with a small group. We sat outside on the patio... which had a view overlooking the water. Timing our arrival for 5pm in mid-August ensured there was shade. Service was a bitslow, other tables not so much, but our overall experience more than made up for this. We really enjoyed our evening! Be sure totry the escargot, the Jägerschnitzel (if it?s available), and the linzertorte for dessert. I?ll be back for dinner again andhope to spend a night at the inn. This place is very nice by the water. They have a lot of German dishes. Food is fresh and seasoned very well. Plethora of... choices for everyone. Vineyard is in the back.Sat outside beautiful. Inside is just as beautiful. My only suggestion would besome sort of mosquito repellent on the tables.. via candle or outside device in the trees. Read more

Great food and drinks! Four of us ate entirely different meals and everyone commented on how great the food tasted and looked. ... Service was excellent, too! We rented the apartment and it was fine. Not modern and new but everything was clean ...and weknew what it looked like before we booked it. Nice getting up in the morning to amazing views. We were looking for peacefuland the Inn is in a very peaceful area. We thought we'd hear the chatter of diners in front, but we didnt. Recommend areservation on Sunday afternoons. Read more

Had dinner there for the first time tonight for our 23rd wedding anniversary. My wife had been there a couple times and to the... vineyard across the street a number of times. We sat outside for dinner, the weather was wonderful and the view is great. Thefood is very good, we had escargot, and the Jager schnitzel, seriously so good. Stayed for dessert and coffee as well. Wouldhighly recommend, felt like I was on vacation. Read more
