Kind staff and a big menu. Taste isnt terrible but its not the best or all that great. Reminds me of meijer or kroger sushi.... Also, ive noticed they use all pretty much the same 4 or 5 ingredients in majority of their sushi. So theres really no bigdifference in taste or creativity. They do have a seperate dining area with a bathroom but it is very stuffy and dusty in there.No air and doesnt feel clean. The smell and stuffy dusty feeling makes it uncomfortable to eat in. After going to a couple other near by sushi places in the past and getting sick from them twice OR the price/quality wasn’t... there, we were desperate for somewhere. I googled this place and tried bc of the high reviews. First off- in a post pandemic agewhere customer service folks have an attitude especially over the phone, the gentleman who answered was a delight! I had lots ofquestions and he answered no problem. Second- my son has a shellfish allergy and it can be scary to go anywhere seafood driven.He asked me a couple times and went over ingredients to make sure I knew which had shellfish items. Third- I got there it wasall being done fresh. The chef reiterated about the fryer and allergy concerns. I was impressed at their level ofconcern! Fourth- the food was stellar!!! Different rolls. So fresh. Soo soo good! WE WILL BE BACK!! You must try! We had Detroitcrunch, dragon eel, sakawra(?) (With fresh Tuna and roe on top) and smoked salmon roll. And the chicken dumplings. My son, who seems to like Sushi more than me would say 4*. I say 3 because of price and the concoctions I have tried were not... as good as they could be. I think it might be better if served a bit colder. And their orange topping sauce needs more bite. Read more
The food wasn't horrible but it wasn't that great. Definitely not the sushi place you want to go to if you are looking for a... nice sit down experience. If you are looking for quick to go sushi, you might want to go here. Didn't have much of a diningroom, and you do not get waited on. The prices weren't horrible, but if I'm spending $20 on sushi, I want a complimentary waterthat is going to be refilled. They had pretty weak drink options of only bottled beverages. I prob would not return to thisestablishment for another meal. Read more

I absolutely love this place! Sushi is made fresh every time, the people are Soo nice and friendly. Not to mention amazing... prices for outstanding quality. It's the only place we will go anymore, and we drive about an hour to get there! Read more
My husband and I found out about this hidden gem recently, and got some sushi for dinner last night. This was absolutely THE... BEST sushi we've ever had. All the ingredients are so fresh, and the pricing is amazing considering how fresh their items are.We got the Crispy Cali roll, Detroit Crunch roll, Volcano roll and an order of pork dumplings. Everything exceeded ourexpectations!! So delicious, and prepared so fast! Even for ordering fried items our wait was not long at all. The owner wassuch a gracious lady, so very kind and friendly. This is now our new favorite sushi place. No other sushi place can come closeto matching the value and quality. Thank you for such an amazing dinner, see you soon! Read more
