First time trying Lefty?s, and I will come back, especially to the 10-mile location and schoenherr location. I didn't know what... I wanted or what to expect, but when I walked in, I was greeted by both Camille and Nisir! They were both super helpful! I came in on August 18th at like 630 and the girl there was all by herself. I mean cooking and taking orders. And I would... really like to thank her for 1 showing up and 2 not giving up when it was getting pretty busy. I don't know her name but shedid an amazing job. I usually go to the leftys by my house but we over that way for a concert. Not only did she do a get jobmanaging alone it was the best sub I've ever had from there. I hope that you make sure she know how appreciated she is!!!! Youdon't find good employees now days and when u get one make sure you take care of them. I tried to contact a manager but theykept telling me there isn't one probably because they thought I was going to complain but I just wanted that girl to berecognized for her hard work and great sub making skills. Everything we tried was great, only downside was the drink machine was out of order.
There was only one person working (running the register AND cooking) at the time I went in, but she did the damn thing with the... food! I asked for double meat and cheese, came home with enough extra meat to make a wrap the next day LOL and it was so wellseasoned, I was tempted to go back up there the next day in hopes she was still cooking just to get a couple more subs. I've had Lefty's around metro Detroit and have been waiting for this one to open. Best cheesesteak in town! The steak is... tender and juicy and the bread is like right out of the oven. They have a lot of interesting side choices like my favorite thefried mushrooms. The corned beef "egg rolls" are amazing too! Read more
