Very disappointing. Went to dinner tonight because I had $10 off from a previous experience from this restaurant in June. I had... ordered food for my son?s graduation and it wasn?t ready when picking it up. Had to wait 1/2 hour for it to be ready, so I wasgiving a $10 off coupon for a future visit. I did that visit tonight. What a disaster. It was not worth saving $10. First wewere told the wait would be 25-30 min. We waited almost and hour to be seated. The waitress apologized and said it usuallywasn?t like that. Well, the poor management from our previous experience was why we had the coupon. People who were seated afterus, got their food before us. Then there was the food. My son got the pizza burger. He said Sunrise?s pizza burger is 10 timesbetter. I got the chicken parmigiana. There wasn?t much taste to it and the sauce seemed like they opened up a can of crushedtomatoes. It was lukewarm, too. The owner/chef, Nick, came to ask how it was and offered an excuse that he didn?t have enoughhelp. Then asked how the food was and when my son said it was as just ok, Nick was passive aggressive towards him, saying ?wellyou ate it all, so it must have been good.? I have always been happy when we've here before, but My husband got the meat loaf sandwich which the girl did say the meatloaf... was from 2 days old. When it came out it looked dry and burnt and the meatloaf sandwich had no gravy on it. The bread wasstale. My French fries were very greasy the cole slaw tasted like it had been around for a couple days. Verydisappointed. Needless to say I left most of meal untouched. Read more

great waitress, tables very clean, most of our food was very hot. Some things tasted great like the fried chicken, french fries... and the pasta sauce was really good. but didn't have tea or lemonade, said they couldn't get it right now so that leaves watersince we don't drink pop. The mac and cheese tasted like Stouffers, the bread was cold and blah, meatballs didn't really haveany flavor. Their pizza burger is a great idea never seen one made that way and it was alright but it only took a few minutesfor pizza part to get really soggy from the hot tomato sauce that was poured all over it. Best chicken ever! A staple in the neighborhood, great food, great atmosphere & family friendly.
Times people joke that chicken tastes like anything however Buena Vista Cafe has some of the tastiest chicken I've ever had. An... intense garlic flavor permeates through the entire piece of chicken instead of simply flavoring the skin. Plus their facility isvery well maintained and clean. They offer a decent selection of vegetarian options. Many times I have ordered just a $20 box ofpotatoes and it has always been a hit with my family and friends. This local establishment has been around since the '50s it was recommended to me by several friends and for good reason the... famous fried chicken is worthy to the title it very much reminded me of Miss Ray Scotch House in New Orleans and uniqueness andquality and just lick smack ability the owner who goes by the moniker of Uncle Nick is probably one of the most funnyindividuals I've ever had the pleasure of meeting the smile he brings to everyone who's dining my other is the first time oryour millionth it is nothing less than magic make a point to stop at this restaurant the bar has football memorabilia andsignatures they're just too numerous to mention it is beyond awesome Bottom line I hold myself deeply honored and trulyprivileged to have been able to dine here cannot recommend this place highly enough Read more
