I just moved to the area and have been trying out new restaurants each week. Salvatore's was a wonderful surprise! Who knew... Warren, Oh had THE BEST Italian restaurant around?!!? The service is good, prices are great, and food AMAZING. I eat a Ketodiet most of the time so when I want to splurge on pasta, it has to be worth the calories. SALVATORE'S is my new "cheat meal"spot. Portions are big and food is very good..I ended up taking home 2/3 of my lunch because it was too much food. The patio is... nice....you don't know it overlooks a parking lot. Read more
Salvatore's is a store front location in a strip mall. Easily seen from the road and there is plenty of signage. Moderate crowd... for a Wed night. When seated at a bar area table we were given three separate menus. I get that restaurants want to update theirmenus without printing all new but 3 menus is silly. There was a bit of a wait for a server but when she arrived she wasfriendly. Pet peeve: raspberry tea is not iced tea. Don't offer iced tea and bring some fruit drink. We placed our orders andbread and Ceasars Salad arrived quickly. The salad was a plate of lettuce with dressing in a cup. The garlic rolls and pizzabread was fresh but the pizza bread was cold. The entrees arrived promptly. Large portions. Hot. Very flavorful. We were happywith both and took home lunch sized leftovers. Wouldn't hesitate to go back. Update: excellent meal. Strong service. Note : I am editing this to add things that occurred after the initial review. We have visited Salvatore?s several times. My... wife has Celiac and must eat gluten free. We asked for a gluten free menu from the Hostess (like we have before) and was toldthey don?t have one and our server would know what was safe to eat. When we questioned our server, (Tia) about what items onthe menu were Gluten Free, she was very short with us and told us she didn?t know. She never came back to our table to refilldrinks or ask if everything was okay. My wife called the restaurant after we left and spoke with a manager. He was apologeticand told her he was busy and would call her back. As of today she has not heard from them. Read more
Yummy! First time here, I'm soooo sad it's a 50 minute drive. Nice, clean interior. Friendly waitress. A huge menu, it was... very hard to decide. I opted to get the lunch entree special which was a shrimp with lemon garlic butter sauce spinach andtomatoes on linguine. It was delicious. I would like to try and emulate making it at home. I guess if I have to have a complaintit would be that I would have wanted a couple of more shrimp. It came with a salad and a basket of rolls. Two plain rolls andthree pieces of a tomato topped bread. If that's an example of the sauce that they use on their pizza/pasta I will definitelydrive back and get a pizza. Too hot today to take one home. It looks like they have outdoor seating undercover, easy to find ina shopping plaza. I would definitely and highly recommend this restaurant. Read more
The taste isn't that bad, salty but not horrible. However, I should've just ordered at the mall instead. The presentation was... horrible and sloppily made. You're better off dining in because the quality of take out has seriously declined. Read more
The food was not bad. It took a long time to receive our meals. The presentation was not bad. However, we could not eat our food... because so many flies were swarming at our table the moment we took her eyes off of our food they rested to feast on the breadand salads. We got so tired of it that we just covered our entrees and waited for a waitress so that we could take the food thathad not been touched or consumed by flies home. The waitress seemed to understand that there was a problem with flies but it wasnot a big deal to her. No apology was offered. No concessions for the fact that we actually could not continue trying to eatunder those circumstances. To us it was a big deal because sharing our meal with insects is not appetizing. Read more
