The atmosphere and views are wonderful! The food was also amazing! The spicy tuna roll is a must! The chophouse salad is also... exceptional. The ribs and lamb shank are delicious as well. Only problem we saw was that the drinks were overpriced and not wellmade….we had Manhattans and Old Fashioneds…at $16 A piece they should have been better. Also our particular waitress wasvery slow but we saw plenty of others hustling so that won’t stop us from going back. Read more
Great dining experience on first night after lengthy shutdown. Very nice menu selections. Happy Hour was a surprise bonus.... Selected lobster nachos as an entree. Taste, presentation and portion size were excellant. Tried a Blood Orange Sangria. Tastewas great but it wasn't really a sangria, more like a flavored citrus drink. We had a wonderful dinner celebrating my mom’s birthday and my wedding anniversary. Breanne was an awesome, friendly, and... attentive server. They made us feel special and the food and portions were great. The Chophouse has a lovely atmosphere as youget to look out over the Avalon Golf Course. Well we go to a different restaurant every two weeks with another couple. So we tried this for the first time tonight! We sat on... the patio overlooking the beautiful grounds. The patio is climate controlled which is nice. However, as we came early and hadreservations we sat in the bar beforehand. Lovey had an appletini and I had a bottle of beer. I thought the bartenders we'regood and very friendly. The clientele was also friendly and upscale. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with the peoplesitting around us. Lovey stated, her appletini was very good and generous on the good stuff. At our table our waiter was Marklet me tell you this guy was super attentive and highly knowledgeable about the restaurant and the entire surroundingcomplex.Lovey had the chicken kabobs dinner with an excellent salad. I have the Delmonico steak with asparagus and a tossedsalad. Let me tell you it was incredible. The couple with us both had the Delmonico steak. With smashed potatoes, greens andtossed salads. They loved their dinners also. In conclusion I'll definitely be back on our normal rotation. Now for what we gotthe cost of the dinner was very reasonable approximately $200 with a $45 tip to Mark from lovey and myself. I know that thecouple with us gave him a little extra too. We had a wonderful evening meal on 12/3. I had steak - great taste and perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed their chophouse salad.... My wife had the roasted beet salad and crab cakes. Everything was great. The waitstaff was so pleasant and attentive. We highlyrecommend a visit here. Read more
