This is a a true hidden gem. The food is better than many high end restaurants I?ve been to. The owners understand flavor and... texture, and they make fabulous meals in a charming setting. Such a cute place for a tasty and wholesome lunch!! The food: - Cubano sandwich on sourdough: Great sourdough bread, tasty meat... and cheeses. - curry chicken salad with balsamic: I loved the curry chicken salad and the bed of greens were fresh. The walnutsand cranberries added great flavor and texture! - Shecrab soup: GET THIS SOUP!! It is their famous shecrab soup and it wasphenomenal. The ladies at the counter were so kind, conversational and welcoming! We learned about Mary?s background and howshe found her way to Warrenton. They also do platters for large groups. Small but cosy restaurant. They offer there food options as "gourmet to go", or you can choose to eat on their outside patio.... Inside there are some bar height tables as well. It was a beautiful day so we chose to eat outside. I ordered the Ragin Cajunsandwich and a bowl of the She Crab Soup. The sandwich was delicious on sourdough with a slightly spicy yet sweet jam and cametoasted like a panini. The she crab soup was delicious, we thought we had ordered to large of a bowl but realized quickly wewanted more. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel right at home. I'd give Third and Main a 6 star rating if it were possible. The food never disappoints and it gives you a taste of home. From... freshly cooked soup, to amazing desserts, I highly recommend for anyone. Though the building itself is rather small, theatmosphere is quite comfy and cozy. Mary, the owner, is one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met. She puts her heart and soulinto her cooking, and always greets her customers with a smile. She greatly values and appreciates her customers and it shows.Nothing can beat the feeling of walking into an establishment and being greeted by name.
