Wild Hare Cidery is a local Virginia cidery based out of Berryville, VA. They brew small batch ciders so if you become attached... to a flavor it probably won't be around in a couple months. Their ciders are definitely on the drier end, if you like cidersbecause they are sweeter you might find yourself disappointed by the array here. In my opinion Wild Hare is the best cidery inthe DMV by far. Their ciders are always complex without tasting flat, overwhelmingly sweet or bitter. A good selection of tasty ciders. The staff was very knowledgeable about the brand and what they offer. They have a rotation of... seasonal and regular offerings. It is located in a unique building with a bar on the main floor and a nice garden with outsideseating. There is upstairs seating with a TV. Read more
My friends and stopped by the Wild Hare Cider Pub and Garden while walking around downtown Warrenton. We received great service... while we were there. We each got a flight of cider. They had a food vendor in the garden that day so we also ordered somebiscuit sandwiches. The reason for the 4 stars vs 5 stars is because we didn't love the cider. There was only one that we wouldwant to order more of. We are big cider fans and this just wasn't for us. Cute atmosphere though and good service. Read more
Went here and got two flights to try all the on tap ciders. The cider was tasty. The space is small and the seats aren't the... most comfy. I would not bring someone in a wheelchair into the space. Read more
The cider here is fantastic. Most ciders try to appeal to people with a sweet tooth, leaving those of us who want something a... bit more tangy and subdued in the dust. True, this place does have some sweet ciders on menu it also offers ones made with zeroadded sugar, letting the apples' sugar be its sweetener. This leads to one crisp, refreshing, and more natural tasting beverage.Price may seem high, but how many cider houses can you find copaired to breweries?
