Mary is the whole reason I come here, she is a wonderful waitress, fun to talk to, and always welcoming. The food is great, but... I mostly come because she is such a great waitress. She knows my order by heart, and she's just great. Arooga's is a fun place to eat. Dining room has a wall of TVs showing various sports. Friendly staff and great food. There is a... mix of pub grub,burgers, sandwiches, and salads available, all with Arooga's twist! Peanut Butter and Jelly on a burger soundsweird but is delicious. Nashville Chicken sandwich has lots of flavor with a kick. Buffalo pretzel is packed with chicken andsized to share but tastes sooo good you don't want to! Read more
The co reviewer recently received a special offer for this place online so we decided to give it a try. Clean and comfortable... interior with a clearly sports bar theme. We tried the basic stuff for this type of restaurant - burgers and ribs. Burgerswere okay but not a big fan of the ribs. French fries were good but the tots were fair. Service was very good and the drinkswere well made! That’s a plus for any sports bar. Good place if you want to see dozens of games on at the same times becausethe place is loaded with screens. Great place to watch the Alabama game!!! Great atmosphere!!! Great burger and tots!!!!! Love hanging here with my friends and... coworkers to watch college football!!!!! Amazing and unique food, good prices, horrible service. Three hours to for them them to get us one appetizer, two burgers, and... one dessert -- this place was nearly empty the entire time too! Drinks were never refilled and sat at the edge of our tableempty the entire time, waitress never checked up on us, empty plates were never taken off the table, even the co-owner visitedour table and was seemingly oblivious to the empty cups, plates, and lack of service. Update: Owner responded below, I sentemail to that address, it was only responded to after I inquired about it on their Instagram. Will update this depending on howthe next experience goes. Update 2: We went again, place was empty, several servers on phone or lounging. 30 minutes afterbeing sat, I got up and had to ask for a server. Food was very fast this time around andb delicious. Great food and service. Everything I've ordered has been delicious and quite filling. Our waitress Mary is always amazing. She... knows exactly what I drink and offers plenty of suggestions from the menu. She always comes to check if we need anything, tooffer refills and the occasional box to bring food home. Read more
