Visiting my sister in Rhode Island for the weekend and decided to try this restaurant. We called to get put on the waitlist... since they don’t do reservations. We were told 35 minutes on the phone, showed up 40 minutes later and were told it would be20 more minutes. Bad start but we understood it was Friday night at a bar restaurant. We also called and asked for a high chairfor my sisters 7 month old baby they said no problem on the phone but when we walked in the short black haired young girl at thehostess desk rolled her eyes when I asked about it told us they didn’t have any chairs. We said fine and went to the table.Our server couldn’t have been polite and awesome! Right after she took our drinks she asked if we needed one and quicklygrabbed the chair for us with no hesitation and asked who told us they’re were no chairs and seemed visibly confused evenupset for us that we were told there were no chairs. The food was average, pricy for what we received but overall edible. Wewon’t be back due to bad service at the hostess stand. It’s the first impression of your restaurant and think it should beaddressed with the hostesses. Also all the knives were dirty. Read more

This was our first time going to BJ's but certainly won't be our last. Food was excellent. Beer selection was great. I... couldn't decide which one to have. I chose one but the waitress brought me samples of the other two I was interested in trying. Waitstaff was attentive but not bugging us every minute. Atmosphere was pub-like but comfortable. Gave my 7 year old a raw burger. Ordered 2 burgers for 2 kids well done..one comes out raw. Kid ate about half of it before I... noticed. Kitchen manager comes out asks me if I want a new burger...I declined, so he threw in a free raw but burnt piezookie.On top of dodging food posion.. the fries tasted burnt and had a ton of bits of burnt stuff. Who knows how old the oil was. Theweekend 16oz prime rib was about 10oz of fat. Been here a bunch of times but this was awful. Avoid this place on Friday nightsfor sure. Read more

Only giving one star because 0 stars isn’t an option. We were seated and it took 15 minutes for anyone to even come and make... the initial contact to even take our drink order. Waiters would make eye contact with us but continue to walk past multipletimes. People who were seated after us were getting service first. When our waitress finally came over and we told her we hadbeen waiting 15 minutes, she stated she had just been told we had just been seated. Due to timing and how long it would take totake our order, have our food made, and eat, we ended up leaving without eating. Past visits have shown their food and beers aregood. It just sucks that their service is so poor. So if you’re planning on eating here, ensure you are not in a time crunchas you will be there a while. Read more

Tonight we tried this place again. DISASTER isn’t even the word! We ordered the family burger bundle. 2 of 4 burgers had... cheese when all had been requested as cheeseburgers. On top of that we didn’t receive our toppings for the burgers either. Notomatoes/lettuce. The Nachos speak for themselves. Second time I’ve ordered and the second time I’ve been disappointed. Well let’s start off with BJs is an experience! The food is delicious. The environment was inviting and fun. Our server Mark... is a delight. Let me tell you, you want a nice time out with great food? Request Mark. Funniest guy around. His customer servicegoes beyond the restaurant. Sat at the bar to enjoy some lunch and the bartender was extremely friendly and nice. Fun casual talk and the food was prepared... very quickly. The California Chicken Club Sandwich was delicious along with the crispy fries. There hasn’t been a time I’vebeen disappointed coming here! Read more

Third time here, still impressed. Food is always delicious and I don't leave sick, which is a huge win for me! I'm on a mission... to try everything (almost everything) on the menu. Bar tenders are awesome and friendly. The one time I had a regular table theserver was nice but training someone new so it was a little slow but still good. I felt the beer flight was better thanmargarita flight but that could have been due to my personal choices since you do get to customize them. Can't wait to go backagain! Read more
