This place is great, I have never been let down by the quality of the food or the friendliness of the waitstaff. This place is... not your typical sit down restaurant either, outside the back doors, you are greeted with an expansive outdoor space with asecond full bar under a gazebo and two fire pits surrounded with Adirondack chairs. Sitting in these chairs, you can see rightout into the bay and both the Jamestown and Newport bridges with ease. If you happen to find yourself here and near the end ofyour meal, you cannot forget about their milkshakes or other fabulous desserts, from a giant basket of their famous doughboys totheir giant and meticulously decorated milkshakes, you will definitely have to save room for these treats. We had Lobster Roll. When in Rome... pretty good. Not as good as James Hook in Boston - but decent. I'd eat here again. Nice... facility. Live music on Sunday afternoon with view of the beach. Jennifer was very attentive! Overall good time. Read more

First time for everything. I’m a connoisseur and a fan favorite of seafood. So my friends and me decided to check this place... out bc I had heard good buzz from my co workers and was also commended. The service was great and the food was good. I orderedthe fisherman’s platter and the other picture is a lobster bisque bowl which I had a piece of and was very tasty. Obviously, it is very popular during the weekend. We didn’t make a reservation and the only available seats is at the bar. It... was not crowded and still kept a certain space. The bartender is very nice. The overall service is great and the food is alsogood. Read more
Beautiful place, lovely outdoor seating. A bit pricy but you get what you pay for! Delicious calamari, amazing chowder and clam... cakes (they are well known for these), and the richest most amazing lobster bisque. Nice chunks of perfectly cooked lobster intheir lobster roll. First time coming to Iggy’s and we opted to dine in at the boardwalk. Plenty of parking lots in the area to park and was able... to get a table on the outside covered patio area. Very nice views of the ocean and sail boats. We started with the New Englandclam chowder and it lives up to the stellar reviews. It’s top 5 best I’ve had. Clam cakes are also delicious and some of thebest I’ve had. The entrees we got were equally delicious. The fried scollops were not greasy and had very light breading. Itwas not on the menu but you could get anything fried our waitress said. The fried whole belly clams were good but a lot of thebellies were small. The prices were not bad. The lobster casserole was amazing and full of lobster and butter. However, Ididn’t get a lot of stuffing on top but it was rich and filling nonetheless. Finally the mini basket of doughboys came with 6mini doughboys and caramel and chocolate dipping sauce. So yummy. Mixed drinks, beer, and wine to wash it all down were great.We even went to the chowder house next door for more doughboys to go. Sign up for the email list and they will send you coupons.We had coupons to get a free appetizer and mini doughboys and at the chowder house buy 6 get 6 free!
