GREAT DINNER AND EXPERIENCE!!! Only getting 5 stars because I cannot give 7! Walking in the door and I get “smacked in the... nose” with an aroma of the food and I was like wow, this is gunna be good! And it’s was! We got sat right away even thoughit was almost packed to the max. Service was outstanding. I don’t remember the servers name but she was awesome! Busy at 6 - lots of individuals at the bar. Didn’t have a reservation would have been a 20 minute wait - sat at the bar. Had... the prime rib - was cooked as I requested - food was fresh. Boyfriend had short rib - was fall off the bone - no knife needed. Good service - friendly staff. Read more
I love it when an old structure or building is repurposed and gets a new life. Iron Works used to be an industrial foundry but... is now serving some of the best eats in the Ocean State. Great twists on classic bar food and some truly unique new dishes. TheCauliflower and Lentil Fritters are amazing. The One Pound Pastrami is a heavy, juicy, flavor-packed sandwich you can share butit's so good you won't. Shaved Steak was delightful. Fries were a great sidekick to the sandwiches. Great selection ofcocktails, draft and bottled beers. Extensive desert menu if you have any room. Offering gluten free breads and deserts aswell. Very friendly staff, great decor. We enjoyed our meal went twice during our stay. We did not have any issues except on the second visit we ordered some dessert... close to closing time and the waiter said the kitchen was closed. We had a 0830 reservation and we ordered the dessert. Themanager caught wind of that and corrected the issue. Food was good took off one star based on service. Read more
I live in NH, and went to RI to see some family members who came up from out of town. We needed to do takeout, and let me tell... you by far the best service ever. The gentleman that greeted us was so delightful. Had a smile on his face with a greatattitude. ? He went and got our food, and when he came back we asked if they happen to have any paper plates and the guy wentand found a package these little plastic plates. Which was just the sweetest gesture. I'd definitely go back to this placeservice for our takeout was amazing.! And then let me tell you we got food for 4 of us and then some due to others staying in ahotel. And the food was phenomenal.!! There to go containers we by far the best I've ever seen before. So hands down all aroundthis place has got my interests to go back.! Beautiful interior and very nice employees. They were able to accommodate to our bigger party with different dietary needs. Lots... of great vegetarian options. The Calamari was amazing! I highly recommend. The mushroom entree was a little on the salty sidebut that’s my only complaint. Nachos were yummy, the fries are very fresh, and the salmon cooked perfectly! Delicious.
