NYAJ always has good food and I appreciate that they run a scratch kitchen.
I had the chicken parmigiana. Portions were small compared to other restaurants but adequate. The chicken was tender but... somehow did not have much flavor. The tomato sauce was quite good but there was not really enough of it. I was told there wouldbe more "on the side", but there was not. The bread was fabulous! The clam was delicious with no extra additives. My burger was perfectly cooked medium rare and the fries had an awesome... seasoning. The kids chicken tenders sadly no hardly any flavor, needed ranch for the kids. Read more
Good place to eat. I haven't been in a couple years but I felt they weren't quite the same as they used to be. When I was... going here regularly I feel like the menu was exciting and trendy and always had something new and special. This menu waspretty much exactly as it was when I was last there and they're weren't any seasonal specials. I'm vegan and there were noactual vegan options unless you removed the cheese or protein from a dish. Ended up with a tasty but fairly small salad since itwas the only one that didn't come with both chicken and cheese. I think the waitstaff was new, we had to ask for an additionalplate and silverware for someone at the table. We weren't offered water or refills on the bread. Overall, experience wasfine, nothing to really complain about, but nothing to make me rush back there when most restaurants have at least one veganoption these days. Read more
Great atmosphere! Not terribly busy for a Thursday night. My friend and I sat at the bar and the bartender Kevin took care of... us. He made some great recommendations for food and drinks and was very pleasurable to speak with. Read more
Took a large group of young men participating in The Great Race out for our final night all together prior to the start of the... race. Service was top notch. Food was great. Atmosphere was awesome. Never heard of the place before this. Would definitely goagain! Read more
When here last night on a limb, we have never been here before so we were expecting like a chipotle style restaurant we were... very impressed. I had the sparkling strawberry margarita it was delicious and I had the penne à la vodka, AMAZING! I have tosay the bread and oil they give you is the best bread and oil I have ever had in my entire life me and my boyfriend devoured thebread in two seconds we would come back just for the bread and oil lol. Customer service was outstanding from the time I walked in until I walked out! The cauliflower sweet and sour bites were sooo... good. I also treated myself to a Don't call me Old Fashioned and it was delicious and made to perfection. The food was flavorfuland worth the visit. I will return.
