The staff at the Wasaga Beach store is new and not enough servers. Be prepared to wait for your food and then hope it's hot as... it's always just slightly warm. I ordered the chicken pot pie and the server brought it without a plate under this soup bowltype bowl without the puff pastry on top and the filling which was like a chicken stew was just warm. When I mentioned this tothe waitress she thought it was normal like that. When she brought it back they just put a round peace of puff pastry which wasliterally cold. Had to send it back again. We now go to the Collingwood restaurant which is much better. Hopefully they willimprove. We will try the Wasaga Restaurant in a month and see if it has improved. Read more

We have only done take out so far but each time they have missed significant items. Like chalet sauce for a quarter chicken... meal. Growing pains I?m sure, but that can really ruin a meal. We were also served fries that clearly came from moldy potatoesas seen in the image. Totally rotten and moldy. Honestly everything else was well prepared but it?s hard to see past the moldyfries. Edit: After speaking with the owner, he stated he will be bringing my concerns forward to his team. My only concern is that his... staff require further training to provide satisfactory customer service. Disappointed with the cleanliness of this restaurant.Sticky tables and crumbs on the seats. Restaurant was not busy, there was no reason that they could bus a table but not wipe thetables and seats. If that's the state of the dinning room, I'd hate to think how their kitchen is being maintained. We were toldto seat ourselves. We have ordered from Swiss chalet 2 times now. Every time our order has been missing many items. The first time it took 2 hours... none of the appetizers came and one meal was missing, the other had no fries.. we called to complain and they said they wouldhave someone call us back.. never happened and we were never given money back for the items that never showed up. We orderedagain today hoping it would be better? silly me. No chalet sauce, no fries in one of the meals. Ordered from this location last night and it was the absolute worse experience I have ever encountered. My parents ordered for... curbside pick up, we arrived and our food was brought out. Right away I told the lady that brought out the food that it was thewrong order to where she replied with no it?s not check it yourself. I check it and it was not what we ordered at all. I handedit back to her and asked if she wanted me to come into the restaurant to get this sorted and she said no I have to wait here asit?s too busy. At first I was understanding, the bill had the same name so I could see how it was mixed up. 20 mins later shecomes out with the order that was supposed to be ours, I get home and we were missing so much of the order. We were missingfries for one of the meals, none of them had the chalet sauce, didn?t have the extra sauce we ordered and did not have the minidonuts. Right away I called their customer service and was hung up on twice. The third time I called back I was told there isnothing he can do and told me to call a different number. I call the fourth number and the lady was very nice but then told me Ihad to call the store she couldn?t do anything to help. I call the store and was told there is nothing they can do and to callback tomorrow to speak to the manager. So today, I call back and am told the owner is busy so they go and get someone else. Sheasks what the issue was and I tell her and she goes so what do you want from me, I responded I want a refund for the things wedidn?t receive and she said if you want a refund you can come into the store and get it yourself. I live 30 mins from the storeand told her I could not come in and then she replied well I?ll have to talk with the owner and see if there is anything I cando. I doubt I will get a call back. I have been home sick and ordered myself some soup from the Wasaga Swiss Chalet. I waited for an hour as the tracker stated it... was still being prepared. I checked again around the hour and 15 mark and the tracker was gone. I called the number on theconfirmation email and then woman said the store delivered it. I checked all around my house and nothing is here. She said shewould contact the store and put me on hold. I waited 10 minutes on hold and then the phone hung up on their end. I called backand had to go through the process again of explaining my food hadn?t come and being put on hold. The lady returned back on theline after contacting the Wasaga store and told me the store would be in contact with me. I proceeded to wait another 20 minuteswith no phone call. I then called the line back again and went through the same process waiting another 15 minutes on hold whilethey contacted the store. I finally demanded a refund. I am sick, alone, and can?t go out to get anything and waited from 5-7pmfor soup just to have to start all over. Horrible horrible customer service. I will not be ordering again. Read more
