Wow! Very impressed at every level. We were greeted at the door by the playing of Scottish bagpipes. Colin, the owner personally... seated us at our table. The servers were prompt and every course of our meal was excellent. I can personally recommend the MapleRye Auld Fashioned; full of flavor and not at all stingey with the liquor. If you're a fan of chowder style soups don't miss outon the Auld Cullen Skink soup; so delicious ????. Both the Hadrian's Wall Duck and Shepherd's Pie were excellent. I recommendboth of those entrees. Just get in there and enjoy the Scottish dining experience. Read more

We had a WONDERFUL time here, it was an all new experience that we will remember FOREVER. The atmosphere is cozy and elligent,... our server Jalyn was so sweet and attentative. We ended up getting the bone marrow and mushroom tops for appetizers (best wehave EVER had hands down) the beef wellington, and the house manor duck (YUM!!!!) Our entrees came with unlimited sides whichwas a cool plus but one plate was enough for both of us. We finished with the sticky toffee pudding and it was the perfect sizeand so delicious. The piper playing out front is the icing on the cake. COME HUNGRY this is definitely a restaurant where youcan eat with your eyes too, it was awesome. We loved every single dish and plan on coming back ASAP to try more dishes.Definitely a great place to celebrate anything and everything. Awesome for a date night or family get together. Love love loveit!! Read more

Everyone treats you like fine friends and dear family. Lovely atmosphere. Craft cocktails! We skipped appetizers (this time)... but the bread and rolls were the best. Then the main courses: Beef Wellington done to perfection, but the Manor House Duck waseven better. We can't wait to return to try each and every menu item -- even Haggis! Thank you for hosting such a wonderfulspot. Your grandma has every right to brag about you! Read more

Went here to celebrate my father's birthday dinner with family. The food here is very good with plenty of options. There is... traditional Scottish fare and unique items. Table service here is on fine china and beverages in crystal glasses. We werewarmly greeted by a bagpipe playing musician in traditional Scotish garbe. He also played happy birthday with bagpipes as well. The service here is good but slowed after our server became overwhelmed when she was given multiple tables. This restaurant isexpensive but was worth the entertainment and experience. I would return again. Read more

I've been living in the states for 19 years now, originally from Scotland, so I've had this place on my list for some time... now......it was spectacular, I cannot find a single thing wrong with it. From the piper playing outside, the decor andatmosphere inside to the amazing food....flawless. Food cooked to perfection, drinks selection was outstanding and the servicewas perfect. An unexpected taste of home right here in the West Burbs. Highly recommended and will be back...... numeroustimes. Update 2/26/22 - 2nd time here and yet again flawless. Honestly, even if you take away the Scottish aspect, this is stillone of the best dining experiences you can have. Knocks most of the top restaurants in downtown Chicago out of the water. Everysingle dish was executed to perfection. If you are looking for amazing food that is served in a great, welcomingatmosphere….this is THE place. This is a must try restaurant! Read more
