Service was quick. The food was great. Menu is creative but with classical favorites. We arrived at about 11 on Saturday and we... were able to be seated right away. It is a smaller restaurant and tightly packed but tables turn quickly because of greatservice and speed of chef. Read more
Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap for lunch. It's really good. I like spicy and this made my nose run a bit so it's got good... heat. Perfect amount of tomato in the wrap too. The fries are good. They don't salt them much (if at all) but I like thatbecause I like to add my own salt to my liking. Good portion sizes. The host was nice and friendly and so was the server. A lot of good options for a breakfast restaurant in the St Charles area - in the face of these Egg House is merely 'OK'. Had a... skillet - hash browns a little under cooked, pancakes were so-so, nothing to write home about and for $14.50 the price wasprobably higher than average. Portion was generous though. Environment and decor is basic. In comparison with the competitionthe food gets 3 stars for relative quality, but the generous portions just squeak it into the 4 star category. Read more
After hearing about Egg House we had to go check it out. It?s July 2022 and they?ve only been open a couple of months. Three of... us showed up on a Saturday morning expecting a wait. There wasn?t one. Egg House breakfast menu is big. The table service wasimpeccable and the food was excellent. Pricing is a tad high for traditional breakfast stuff, but no reason not to go.
