Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap for lunch. It's really good. I like spicy and this made my nose run a bit so it's got good... heat. Perfect amount of tomato in the wrap too. The fries are good. They don't salt them much (if at all) but I like thatbecause I like to add my own salt to my liking. Good portion sizes. The host was nice and friendly and so was the server. A lot of good options for a breakfast restaurant in the St Charles area - in the face of these Egg House is merely 'OK'. Had a... skillet - hash browns a little under cooked, pancakes were so-so, nothing to write home about and for $14.50 the price wasprobably higher than average. Portion was generous though. Environment and decor is basic. In comparison with the competitionthe food gets 3 stars for relative quality, but the generous portions just squeak it into the 4 star category. Read more
After hearing about Egg House we had to go check it out. It?s July 2022 and they?ve only been open a couple of months. Three of... us showed up on a Saturday morning expecting a wait. There wasn?t one. Egg House breakfast menu is big. The table service wasimpeccable and the food was excellent. Pricing is a tad high for traditional breakfast stuff, but no reason not to go. 100/5 stars, the best breakfast/brunch food ever! So happy to have them closer, though the Sunday drives to Lombard were SO... worth it! So happy to see them so successful!
