I must say that it has been many years since we frequented The Boat House. The last time my wife and I were here it was under... old ownership and management. So we were very pleasantly surprised when we walked in and seen that it had been updated and inmuch cleaner condition than previously. The service is very attentive to your needs and so very friendly. The menu is muchimproved and the food is delicious. Well worth visiting either just for an outing or on a regular basis. Servers were so patient with our (funeral) group. We were a pain in the a$$ I am sure, but kudos. Food was delicious!!! Fries... are the bomb!!! Hope to go again, without a funeral involved. Go get some great food af this wonderful establishment. Read more
Used to be a great spot to eat, don't stop here much anymore. Food is decent most of the time, service is slow unless you get... one of the friendly, experienced waitresses. They need to pay better attention to tables and communicate. I don't mind waitingwhen it's busy, but good service make or breaks the whole experience of coming here. Read more
View of the lake is nice and the food is decent. Burgers are good quality and salad bar is fresh most of the time. But my God... service is slow. The dining room was mostly empty and a couple of tables on the deck, with 2 waiters. I waited for 22 minutes toget a refill on pop. Burgers over 30 minutes. And after we got food the waitress never came back until after we were done andwaiting for the check. Read more

This was my first time to the Boat House in Waseca, Minnesota. We were greeted and brought to our table inside overlooking the... lake. They had a great menu. I ordered the Friday Night Prime Rib Special. Others ordered the Ribs and Chicken and ShrimpDinners. The chicken was very impressively moist. All the food was deliciously prepared. The service by Charlotte was amazing.She kept our beverages full and had a very nice personality. She truly cared about her customers. The bathrooms and restaurantwere clean. I loved the home cooked food. Great job to the kitchen staff!!! They do have a kids menu and the facility ishandicap accessible. I highly recommend this place. We will be back! Read more
