If you like beer and good food this is the place for you. Brown Iron brews their own beer and has an incredible selection of... Michigan beers as well as many others. They have a live tap list on their website so you can see what they have at anytime, howmuch is in the barrel as well as some useful information to help sort through the list which is helpful because as of right nowthere are 65 different beers on tap. We visited there for Sunday brunch for the first time. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Sam and seated. After a few... minutes Sam came back and brought us waters asked if we needed anything else and explained our waitress may be a few minutesbecause she was taking orders for a large party. Michelle came around not too long after and took our order for the amazingchicken wings as a starter and got us all set with the mimosas! She gave us ample time to enjoy our appetizer and took ourorders. She was so thoughtful and patient explaining everything and taking care of our needs. It is not often you have such apositive experience these days and I think these two should be commended for their outstanding customer service and care. Unreal draft beer selection paired with some decent BBQ - This was a nice road trip brunch!

Food was phenomenal. Highly recommend the burnt ends, nachos and cheese curds! Majority of the seats are large picnic table... style which are actually comfortable and very fun. Able to fit several people at a table! Atmosphere is fun for game nights orlate night eats with friends and family. Very busy-parking lot is small. Go just south of the restaurant and there is additionalparking. You will see the lot. The walk is short. This place is also nicely decorated which is fun. Absolutely love the variety of draft beers, especially the large collection of hard to find German specialties Koelsch and... Kristallweizen. Food was excellent, highly recommend the pretzel breadsticks appetizer, the spicy mustard is perfect. Really popular place. Food was okay not great. Beer selection was great. As busy as it was the service was pretty good. Took... awhile for food to get to the table but it was hot. So it was just kitchen back up not bad waitressing. Kudos to our serverKelly and her team. They kept a good sense of humor in a high pressure situation. Can't say going here was a bad thing. Decided to have a late lunch/early dinner here - was the first time for everyone in our group. First thing you should know is... that you don't get traditional beer flights here because the smallest pours are 6 ounces - they don't have smaller pours. Soyou may only want to order two to three beers at a time. Second, the food portions seemed generous to me and I'm a big guy. Iordered the beer can chicken with the crispy brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese. The brussel sprouts were a tad hard instead ofcrispy, but the Mac and cheese was about what you'd expect. The chicken was tender, juicy, and flavorful, but the beer butterit was supposed to be tossed in was disappointingly subdued. Still, not a bad meal. I didn't experiment with the beers, onlyordering beers I already was familiar with, so no commentary on those. Also, everyone else in our party was satisfied withtheir food and portions. The service was good, prompt, and polite. I'd recommend this establishment for anyone looking for anice meal, a cold beer, or both. Read more
