I thought I would not leave a review of this restaurant, just out of mercy, but then I thought, what about the innocent? As I... sat in the dining room, I waited for a server to notice me. There were other people in the restaurant so I thought, I guess theplace is okay. After a time, a server came to my table and handed me a menu and some chips and salsa. I ordered fajitas. Whenmy meal arrived, it looked absolutely delicious! Just look at these photos! This is a lesson and how looks can bedeceiving. The chicken was dry, the bell peppers were mushy, the beans were runny. The rice was okay, but did not really tastelike Mexican rice. The iced tea was just awful. Not sure what brand it was, but I think I will call back someday to ask, sothat I never drink it again. I ordered the guacamole, but I cannot comment on that because it never got to the table. The togo boxes were nice and spacious, which is good, because I did not want to eat much. Literally the BEST Mexican food I've tasted in Michigan. Authentic taste, good service, and friendly people. We go out of our... way to eat here as often as possible. My husband is from Texas and this is a taste of home for him. Always a five star meal! Read more
Since it went under a new management, we absolutely love this place. Their fajitas are enough for two people, so my wife spit... one order. Also, their Aztec soup is the very best. If anyone remembers El Charros tortilla soup which was to die for that theydiscontinued, well the Aztec soup here is almost a clone but better, it?s not as salty which is even better! Delicious food served in generous portion with unconditional love. Chips and salsas are free and refilled without any... hesitation. Would recommend wet burrito with chicken. Store closes at 8 pm. So, plan accordingly. Read more
