I've been there twice driving through town. I ordered a strawberry shake the first time and a chocolate shake the second time.... Both times the service was fast and friendly and the shakes were thick and tasted great. I'll treat myself to a shake any time Idrive through town for sure. Read more

Love the $4 meals. I do like their food with decent pricing options but the self checkout kiosk are unwelcoming. I know... establishments are short staffed but I'd rather wait longer to have a server than have to interact with a self checkout when noteven at a grocery store. Anyways if you've yet to try it I do highly recommend the Frisco sauce it's definitely worth the 40cent charge Read more

Very disappointed at steak in shake dine in experience. They no longer have menus at the tables you have to order at a kiosk and... then you have to get your own drink and then they don't bring you food to your table, you have you go get your own food. Andwhen you pay at the kiosk they ask if you want to leave a tip. For what. The only thing I didn't do is cook the food. Why wouldI tip, when there isn't a waitress to tip. Heck McDonald's will bring your food to your table. If i wanted to pick up my ownfood I would have stayed home or gone through the drive-thru. Read more

I have not been to steak n shake since covid. Went today and was very disappointed. No chicken, or mac n cheese. When did they... get rid of those items? Expensive too. Used to be much cheaper. Will not go back again. Do better!!! Read more

The service was great, we sent back a milkshake that was poorly made and there was an employee who was very helpful,... professional and cute lol. We had a small problem with a number of the employees talking poorly about customers in the back ofthe store, loud enough to were we could hear them. There was an employee with pink hair who made it very clear that she was notokay with the people sitting at our table by talking poorly about us very loudly. Read more

Been wanting to see the new business model. The new ordering kiosks seemed helpful till I realized i couldn't ask questions of a... real server. Dirty floors, dirty grill with leftover meat hanging on the outside helped ruin today's experience. Seats inmultiple booths had leftovers scattered on them. What should have been an enjoyable dining experience turned out no better thanthe assembly line food slop churned out at myriad food courts. Bring back the servers and cleanliness and I might be back. Read more

No servers or hostess staff. Order food from kiosks and wait for number to be called. Have to pay for condiments. You can see in... the pictures of my Frisco melt sandwich how small the burgers are. So I guess if you like bread and Frisco sauce for $10. Thiswas by far the worst steak n shake experience we have ever had. If everything being self service is the way steak n shake isheaded we will never be back. For almost $50 for 4 us to eat we could have went to an actual sit down restaurant and had a muchbetter experience. Read more

Let's talk about Emily. But first, let's look at a comparison between this establishment and another steak-n-shake, apples to... apples and all. We have a steak-n-shake close to our home in High Ridge... that place is fantastic. Service is excellent, foodis excellent, music is very pleasing. The place is CLEAN. With that said, let's come back to Emily. This particularestablishment is.... the titanic. Emily is the ONE bright light within. As we walked in, the place was dirty, the kitchen staffseemed out of sorts. We ordered at the kiosk... Emily brought another couple, an elderly couple, over to help them order, theirfirst ever visit. While our family continued our order, Emily brought another elderly couple over to help them order as well. Wecould hear her while compiling our order. She was very pleasant in dealing with each customer. After completing our order, wefound a table. Again, the place was dirty. I know that you will probably say that was Emily's job to keep the dining areaclean... well I'd grant that but I also SAW first hand that she was giving her time for customer service. I then also witnessedher helping other patrons who were sitting in the dining area, as she continued to clean to the best of her ability whilebalancing customer service. We ordered shakes with our meal... got the meals, MISSING PIECES of those meals by the way, butnever got our shakes. We asked her, since she was in the dining area, about the missing pieces of the meal... my wife anddaughter ordered cheese fries, but got no cheese. Emily took care of that. We still didn't have our shakes, so we asked herabout that also. She checked on those. She came back and asked if we wanted a refund instead. I would have, but my kids werelooking forward to those shakes.... even AFTER our food was very bland and unappetizing. So we opted for the shakes to go. Theystill weren't ready.
