We went here three times this summer. Each time we went by boat as there is free docking along the river front. This last time... we brought along a friend and her teen son. Ever visit the food , drinks and service were absolutely excellent. First visit Ihad the club sandwich which is enormous and so delicious. The second trip I got the turkey wrap and that was so good. This mostrecent trip I had the shrimp burger. It was piled high with tender , lightly battered shrimp. The cocktail sauce was amazing.Each visit I got the sweet potato waffle fries as I got hooked on the first visit. Their bartenders mix perfect cocktails. This place has a fun atmosphere and great service. The food was okay, nothing to write home about. My burger was bland and... poorly cooked and my homemade potato chips were stale. For some reason the fried green tomatoes had over 1/2? of breading onthem, never seen that before and hope I never do again. I heard good things about the pimento cheese but I didn?t try it. Hubs said he was going to surprise be with a good place for lunch on the river otw home from OBX & boy did he! Unbelievably... delicious with excellent service! Some great food, mixed drink really hit the spot, sitting outside to enjoy the weather and view, great fast service, pimiento... cheese bites are awesome.....crab cakes...very good....fried shrimp was on spot.....need some fans outside and an upper deck fora better view of the water would be great. An extremely busy eatery for lunch. We opted for patio seating and were seated immediately. Service was excellent, especially... for how busy they were. The food was tasty but not exceptional. I?m sure I would return if I lived near by. They are locatedacross from the river walk which had many nice boats moored. Read more
Good place for some pub food. I ordered their fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese. Boy, you definitely need someone to... eat it with you. A tad heavy on the batter but otherwise it's good. Hubby had the Steele burger, med rare. He said it'sdelicious. Definitely recommend if you're around Washington. Read more
