Food was decent however the cashier charged us for things we didn?t get and when I questioned I was told they could give me food... for the extra charges but couldn?t give me cash! First time experiencing this restaurant and I will not go back. Also Drinks rfree with meals and I was charged for three drinks and we only ordered 2. My wife and I had never experienced Popeye's until recently at this location. We ordered chicken tender meals. Their pop machine... was broken so we were stuck ordering iced teas. Sides were mashed potatoes and I had the mac & cheese. The chicken was bland ascould be. No seasoning at all. The chicken tastes like frozen store bought chicken. My wife's mashed potatoes were so runny shecould've drank them with a straw. Then there were our "iced" teas. Remove the word "iced" because literally, they were both warmas piss ! I went 30 minutes till close because me and my mom were driving home and still had an hour and 30 minutes left so instead of a... sit down place i said let?s get popeyes we haven?t had that in a while. Being the end of the night they were out of some stuffbut we still got what we came for. food was still nice and crispy and good. fried had some crunch but a little soggy still goodtho? like i said end of the night they were as expected. got through pretty fast. i ordered a 5 piece chicken strip and hadthree on the way home?. got home and still had 6 strips!!! oh yeah i was happy. 10/10. made my night. Im 37, recovering from anorexia and bulimia and just do not or have I ever been a fast food eater. I only eat fish and veggies... now so I never thought I'd ever have a reason to try this place. Holy cow. I can see why the location by my house has a linewrapped around the building twice. I tried the spicy fish filets. So/so. I wouldn't get it again. Small and just poor quality.Just reminded me of something you'd buy at the grocery store, in a box, frozen.. very small and thin. That's definitely an itemfrom another known chain out there. But the popcorn shrimp........ tiny baby shrimp so mostly breading, but shoot. It's great. Absolutely great. Dunk the shrimp in cole slaw!! Move over sushi dates with the boyfriend.. I want Popeyes! I didn't expectmuch to be honest because they sell chicken.... but I was beyond thrilled at what I tasted today. Sprinkle that cajuan sparklepacket on the shrimp and in the slaw. Y'all....hands down my most favorite new experience!! I tried some of my boyfriends mashedpotatoes, the gravy, what magic are you feeding us, Popeyes!!! Not only was the food an experience, but the inside of thisplace, from the food in the jars for show, to the orange paint, the sparkle on the seats...it felt so comfortable and GOOD inthere. Very clean as well!! I'd come here and order the exact same thing again. Oh, the cajuan mustard!! Bottle it up and sellit. I wouldn't change a thing about my visit. We went here yesterday for the first time. I'm not impressed. The food didn't taste that good and everything tasted old. I got... the fried fish meal with fries. My kids got the spicy chicken sandwich and fries. They said the sandwiches were OK. Not great.The restaurant looked run down and dirty. AND they were only taking cash for payment. Which ticked me off since I drove 20minutes to get there and just barely had enough money on me. I will never go back and don't recommend this Popeyes. I've been toothers that were really good. Had no clue there was a Popeyes up here so I had to stop by. Unfortunately, it was really disappointing. The biscuit was so hard... it could have broken a window and the chicken had a strange taste to it. Seemed like it was old food tbh. Only positive thingwas the employees were friendly. Read more
Chicken was so good! I ordered the 4 Piece chicken with green beans and rice. I didn't have my green beans but they gave me 3... biscuits. So i was still satisfied the biscuit was fresh and crunchy. They're currently out of the Chicken Sandwich so not surefor how long ???? Read more
