Everything was good, even the workers. We just felt rushed because it was busy.

My wife ordered food from here tonight. It used to be the best when it was in Washington and not at Tanger. Its also extremely... inconvenient. It seems like the taste of general tso is different. The sweat and sour are now just chicken tenders (dried out)the won tons are dried out and large fried rice seemed like a smaller portion. Older woman taking order was snippy as well. Usedto be great staff and food. I dont know whats going on with this place. Read more

Lots of mixed reviews here but in my experience, I've had consistent great food and super service. All their locations have been... very clean. I adore the Wongs. She even remembers my kids when I go in. She remembers my eldest son likes really spicy n evengave me a decent sample of a new, spicier dish to take home for my son to try. Yeah, they can't do as much selection of items, but it's not like it's a huge warehouse buffet restaurant. Occasionally, you might get some food that's not amazing depending ontime of night or other business factors, it's a part of industry. This is small n family owned n I hafta say they've done anawesome job being Washington's best Chinese restaurant for .. oh wow, it's gotta be close to 30 years that I've been goingthere. Read more

Stopped in for an early dinner, this is the first time here for me. The place was clean which was a relief. The food was ok but... the temperature of the food was lukewarm, along with small portions at best. The lady that was in the small dining area was thestereotypical Chinese business owner, overbearing would sum her personality she would place the food on the plate then shout tothe young lady at the other end of the serving line what I had ordered. This procedure was repeated with every customer in line. The owner would then walk over to the young lady and loudly repeat the order for her to ring up the purchase. I went to use thebathroom before I left. It was not clean I was greeted by loose fixtures and poor lighting along with a handicapped toilet stalland the urinal was marked do not use. I noticed the toilet paper dispenser was mount on the far wall of the stall and you wouldhave to stand up to get to it. A unique experience is how I would rate this place. I do not plan on eating there again. Read more

Get a two for clean place and friendly staff... Ordered at 7:00 on a Monday night, General Tao Chicken with Lo Mein... Chicken... was fresh but flavorless warm, not hot. The Lo Mein was in small pieces, would not stay on fork, was dry to the point of hard(some if it)... I didn't even eat it. Sorry to be the dissenting voice, but it was outright bad. I try not to slam a place, Imean they were nice people and clean... But the food, at least in my case was awful. Read more

We were a little concerned about ready-to-eat Asian food, but the cleanliness, nice sit-down style furnishings, and the... hospitality of the manager eased our fears. He asked us what our preferences were then offered samples and suggestions based onour responses. The staff was very attentive and the manager came out to our table to check on our satisfaction. The quality ofthe food was very good and complimented by excellent service. Read more
