As local Virginians, Inn has been on our hit list for years. What a disappointing night it turned out to be. First off, leaving... a 3 Michelin-star restaurant not full is a sin. Thank goodness for the unlimited bread service or I would have left and had tostop somewhere for a follow-up meal. First up is the food. Nothing is bad, but also nothing is over the top amazing in taste, visuals, or quantity provided. Half the dishes were gastronomic experience size..except there aren't enough courses for that. The rabbit dish was VERY dry. What was most disappointing was the service. At 3 Michelin stars, you expect the best of the best. Our server, Katelyn, lacked sophistication. As did several other of the younger servers. Was this their first day? Katelyn askedus what we wanted to drink as soon as she approached the table. How about giving us a drink menu first? After she took our foodorders, she forgot to ask again what we wanted to drink - we had to tell her. I had to ask for more bread - 3x. When Imentioned the duck being dry to Katelyn, her response was "oh I'm sorry about that, I hope the sauce makes up for it."Unbelievable. Also heard her forget to ask the table next to us what dessert they wanted and had to go back. One of the serverswho delivered two of our courses reached OVER the table to set mine down, and his arms shook wildly both times. So much so, thatthe content of my plate moved both times - he never fixed it. The service was beyond elementary for a fine dining establishmentthat has no stars, let alone one with "3". For the hour+ drive, cost, and overall extremely disappointing experience, we willnot be back, and will not recommend it to anyone who asks. Read more

I am blessed to have had the opportunity to enjoy this fine fine experience. Nothing short of exceptional. Every single motion,... interaction, food, wine and hospitality are forever embedded in my senses. Patrick O’Connell and his professional yetapproachable team deserve every bit of their 3 Michelin stars. From start to finish… it’s in the details and they missednone. I am in awe! Thank you for creating this for me and for every lucky person to live it themselves. Do not miss your chance!Book now! Read more

The restaurant was one of my must try destinations for a number of years. Mainly from friends, we heard that not only was the... food phenomenal, but the talented staff and restaurant environment was an experience. I will attest of all the 5 star ratings Ihave given other restaurants over the years, I would likely downgrade them all to a 4 if I had to compare them to The Inn atLittle Washington. My friends were absolutely correct, this was an experience. Though very expensive, truly understand the hypenow. It is more than the food. It is how the staff interacts with you coupled with a beautiful setting. Nothing fast, no rush, sit back, relax, and enjoy the company you are with for this experience. Understand that the menu will change over time, mattersnot. Whether a cocktail or your meal, they put thought into not only taste, but appearance, and more importantly the fragranceas well. We were truly amazed. Read more

Amazing place! Michelin 3 stars is always worth to try. And the price is great for a Michelin 3 stars restaurant! Every course... is prefect. Plus the services are very nice to all the customers. Average is about 400+ per person but really worth to try! Ifthey have guests room these couple days available I really like to try! They are always fully booked! Read more

I was very skeptical about how good a 3 Michelin star restaurant could be and could it possibly be worth my 2 hour drive and the... incredibly high prices. Well the restaurant was fabulous. Prie fixe menu but everything was prepared with perfect attention todetail and the food really was so much better. The wine pairings were also good. The rooms were very nice, but the bathroomswere small with no tub and just not quite at the same level of exquisite as the restaurant. The staff clearly bought intomeeting their guests needs and we did not meet any staff who sincerely wanted to help in any way possible. I highly recommendthis inn to anyone who wants to make the drive and drop a couple thousand dollars. Read more

A very charming place. There is a garden right behind the restaurant with a pond. It is so nice to see the colorful fishes in... the pond. We could not get a reservation, so we settled with walking around the facility. There is a boutique shop withfantastic products. The staff is so professional and polite. Everyone greeted us. Will definitely try to make a reservationfor dinner. Read more

Fantastic experience, couldn't have been better. My wife and I took a one-night trip out here as a celebration. It has been on... my radar for awhile, but the stars finally aligned for it to happen. It is a lot of money for dinner and a one night stay, but Iam dreaming of the next time we can go back. The room was lovely, the service (hotel and meals) was fantastic, and the meal wasby far one of the best we've ever experienced. Read more
