We love this restaurant and have been there three times already. Their selections and venues are great. We go for all inclusive... menu for food and drink and we enjoy the inside and outside dining area. They would be able to speed up their preparation timesince sometime it take a bit longer than usual but you still have some other food to bite on till they bring the next orderbecause we order one extra portion anytime since we know the next portion takes longer so we have something to be busy workingon it (although it may get cold sometime but better than waiting for your next meal to be prepared and show up on yourtable) Hope you enjoy your time there and like their food and atmosphere Read more

Very good Balkan restaurant. It is $50 per person for all you can eat of their so many but small dishes. I loved the size of... their dishes. It was enough to just taste and order it again if you like it. You can also pay $25 per person for unlimiteddrink or/and $8 for dessert. It is on a crowded street near the Capitol hill and Easter Market so maybe finding the parking is abit of challenge specially over the weekend. The service could be a little better. We had to wait and even call the waiter whenwe needed something. Overall, a very good restaurant with unique experience that I'd highly recommend. Read more

10/10 recommend Ambar!! The unlimited brunch is incredibly worth it. I tried as many things as I could before I was too full but... the small plates help that! Starting with the spreads is perfect - a few different flavors and they were all so good. Then I hadthe tomato soup and the mini burger which were perfect if you’re looking for some lunch food. The grilled steak was myfavorite dish for sure. Cooked perfectly and the flavor was phenomenal. I also had the potatoes hash and the strawberry waffle -a perfect way to end the meal! I cannot wait to go back. Read more

We had a great time for dinner during restaurant week! Service was great and the drinks and food were all so good. Honestly one... of the most fun dining experiences I’ve had, I love the small plates and unlimited makes it so fun! Worthy of the Michelinplate. Each dish was professional and interesting. We will definitely be back! Read more

100/10!! If I could give Ambar more stars I would. I’m visiting from NY and my friend recommended this place for lunch. We... caught their restaurant week special which was $25 per person to order anything from the menu — excuse me WHAT? It’s tapasstyle so we literally ordered everything and each plate surpassed the former. Everything was fresh and delicious and the servicewas great (this was a Monday afternoon). I had one of the best dining experiences ever. Read more

Dining here for brunch was an experience. The ambiance and acoustics were grating and loud— it was difficult to hear speech... from the waiter or from the table. The food was good, but not amazing. Nothing came out piping hot except the kebabs; everythingwas either cold or luke warm, including the veal soup. The Benedict dishes were soggy and watery from the poached egg. Thefavorite parts of the meal were the Balkan cheese and the waffles. It was nice that we could try as much as we wanted and wedefinitely left stuffed. The service was excellent and the staff were quick to remove empty dishes and ask if we wanted to orderanything else. Perhaps the experience would be different at dinner; maybe it was exceptionally loud because of the unlimiteddrinks being served. Read more

Great experience with all you can eat. Wide variation of items for selection and each item is like tapas style. Also each dish... is decorated well and seasoned elegantly. If you come with a group, I'd recommend you try out as many dishes as you want as theportion size isn't too big. Also note that the service can be slow as they get busier and sometimes items you order may notcome until you almost forget about them. Other than that, I think this place is worth a visit and definitely worth the price. Read more

I’ve been to this location for brunch twice so far. It’s a great place to go if you want to try multiple things. I went last... time for my birthday brunch, which was on the rooftop floor. It was beautifully decorated and spacious for my party of 9. Thefood is always really good especially if you want to try new things. The crispy cheese slider really impressed me. Other greatmenu items include the mini burgers, beef prosciutto Benedict, and pecan and maple waffles. I would honestly skip the mac andcheese and bacon and grits, but it’s still worth a try being that you pay one price for everything. The staff was veryfriendly and accommodating. I definitely wouldn’t mind coming back for dinner one day. Read more
