This place is understaffed. I've been 3 times and every time the wait is way too long and not due to the employees because they... are working non-stop. A coffee shop with a 30 minute wait time is not feasible. The employees are nice, food is okay, coffee isoverpriced. Location is the only real thing it has going for it. Read more
When I got to work and opened the ?loaded? avocado toast it was missing several toppings. Nobody mentioned they were out of... ingredients, it just shows that the staff cut corners for any orders. I ordered digitally and in person so there was noambiguity in me requesting an order verbally and then mishearing it and plenty time to communicate if they were shortingredients. Update: to the manager?s credit, I was given a credit to try it out again and still there aren?t red pepper flakesor greens and the bread wasn?t really toasted at all. Maybe it?s just this location? The Tysons Corner location everythinglooked great. Coffee continues to be solid here but there are plenty of roasteries with good beans and brews in DC. Read more
I?ve always wanted to try this place because their coffee shops look so nice and everything. But my friend told me not to... because their food is terrible? I still tried it anyway?I ordered the avocado toast and added 1oz smoked salmon.. the salmon wasnot fresh.. It only took the Ubereats driver 30mins for the whole delivery... So there is no way the reason for the bad salmoncould be the delivery process. and the toast is not heated up so it doesn?t have any crunchy feelings in the mouth.. also theavocado is just tasteless? I also got the granola cup, and the fruits in there are also not fresh and the granola is soft? Ispent almost 30 bucks for my breakfast it?s just doesn?t worth it at all.. The thing that makes this coffee shop a bit better than the rest is the drink selection. There are a lot of options for hot and... cold drinks. As a none coffee drinker I appreciate the amount of tea options this coffee shop offers. The food was also prettygood. They really pack on the avocado and salmon. Though it's expensive you definitely don't get shorted. The service was alsogreat and I was a fan of the self ordering system using the kiosk. I'll definitely be back soon to try the beet latte. Super cool vibe. Despite it being a chain, the baristas are so sweet and genuinely care about customers. Danielle was very nice... and answered all the questions I had. Always welcoming in customers with a smile. I like that it?s cozy and quiet. Best icedlatte I?ve tried in DC! Read more
New to the area... Needed coffee desperately and when it popped up on my map, right after the metro exit, was life saver. Cozy... nice place. I love colors of the decor(not biased at all, aquamarine is the best ever????) nice staff and food looks great. Ididn't risk not bringing food with me today, since i wasn't sure I'd find place with good stuff but tomorrow will definitelygrab that smoked salmon on the toast... Yummy. Bit upset because the word medium deceived me.. Ordered medium and looks bitsmaller, in difference with the price of it...but coffee tastes really good. Nice atmosphere... Will get extra large tomorrow toaccommodate my idea of "medium size coffee" ???? Read more
This morning my colleagues and I visited the Navy Yard store. Caine and Ali were amazing! Our coffees and burritos came out fast... and fresh. Please bring a location to Maryland. We are in desperate need of this level of service and quality. Read more
