Went to Jackie for Happy Hour and ended up staying a whole lot longer! It is the most beautiful restaurant, and the patio has a... view of the water and bridge near Nats park. The food was all excellent but what really made the experience was our amazingserver, Collin S. Ask for him if you visit for sure. He went out of his way to go above and beyond for our group! Hisrecommendations for ordering and spacing out our plates were so helpful and accurate and he was incredibly attentive - ourglasses were never empty. We will be back! Read more

We went for my moms birthday and it was a good time. Great ambiance, great food, but the service was lacking which is why I gave... 4 stars. I got the crab Benedict and it was extremely good, I’d give the dish a 5 stars. The only reason why I gave 4 was Iexpected better service. Also it was like nobody knew it was my moms birthday. I don’t expect anything crazy but anacknowledgement of it would’ve been nice since I emphasized it in the reservation. Read more

Amazing place for brunch right on the water! We enjoyed great cocktails for 2 hours outside while enjoying views of the Potomac... and enjoyed everything we ordered. The steak and eggs were delicious and cooked perfectly. The hot chicken sammie was flakey andpacked just the right amount of heat. The yogurt and fruit parfait was light and refreshing and you could tell the fruit wasfresh. The avocado toast was delicious and the tomatoes it came with were crisp and tasty! 10/10 would come here again, alsoloved the ambiance and retro brunch vibe overall. Big shout out to our waitress Heather too! The service was amazing and mycocktail was never empty. Thanks a bunch Heather! Read more

Ambiance: the decor and the bar and the location was amazing. It was a nationals game that day and it still wasn’t... crowded. Food: we ordered a bunch of apps and sides and it worked out perfectly. The bread with the black garlic butter was agreat starter . I would skip on the broccolini, the mushroom croquettes, and the burrata. Definitely recommend the double friedchicken, mash potatoes, and the fries . Did not have the opportunity to try any entrees but next time. Drinks: watermelontequila and the old fashion were worth it for happy hour. Service: the service wasn’t that good. The waiter never came tocheck if we needed anything after we got our food. Had to flag him down for everything. I think he forgot about us. He wasn’twell versed in the menu either. Otherwise would give it 5 stars. Read more

Jackie’s atmosphere and service were great, but the food left A LOT to be desired—especially at the price point of a $150... meal. (If the restaurant focused as much attention to their food as they do for their cocktails and expansive beer menu, ourexperience might have been different.) Small Plates: The chilled eggplant was without discernible flavor; grilled octopus (ofwhich we received a measly 3 pieces) really should have been advertised as black-eyed peas with a garnish; and the pumpkin /burrata was fine albeit lacking salt. Main: The pork belly and its sauce were spot on; however, the remainder of the dishlacked cohesion. Grits would have complimented the pork, but it’s coconut flavoring was almost nonexistent (not to mentionmissing savor). And the chilled peppers on the side didn’t quite seem to compliment either the pork or grits. Read more

I’m in town from Texas visiting family to bring in the New Year. I’m so glad we chose Jackie! The NYE Prix Fixe menu was... absolutely amazing. More specifically, the Sweet Potato Dumplings, Duck PB & J, and Veal Katsu won me over! Our waitress, Dani, was an absolute delight. She was spot on with her recommendations and very knowledgeable about menu. I know for a fact I will beback! Pictured: Duck PB&J, Veal Katsu, Chocolate Bread pudding. Read more

Food was tasty. Great vibe and atomosphere. Well lighted. The art work and decor of the establishment is just delightful. They... have a DJ that mixes some good tunes on the weekends. Not too loud but just at the right volume. My only complaint, is the foodis a bit over priced. That being said, still worth the visit. Read more
