This store is really hit and miss. I realize the below incident might seem petty and silly, but I try to be a good and easygoing... customer. I never do things like complain and leave bad reviews, I know the employees are human too. I get the same drink 1 to 3times a day, I leave $3-5 in the tip jar, all i want is my drink correctly made. Today's experience was just fustrating,especially as Ive just moved to this neighborhood and was really hoping to make this location my "go-to" Starbucks. Wentyesterday and had a decent experience. Came back this morning about 1020am and the woman making drinks was quite rude. My drinkwas meant to have cold foam on top. First she served it without cold foam. No big deal, I asked her to please fix it. Becauseshe had originally made the drink without cold foam, she had put extra ice in the cup. Instead of pouring the drink into abigger cup to accommodate the cold foam, she just tried to squeeze a very thin layer on top of the already full cup (which hadWAY too much ice). She had also poured my caramel drizzle over the the original drink and didnt add anymore on top of the newcold foam so it was basically lost in the drink. I tried the new drink and apart from the cold foam issue (because she tried tosqueeze it in there was about 1/4 the amount thats supposed to be included) it was pretty obvious she had also forgotten theflavored syrup that was supposed to be in this drink. I get this drink 1-3 times a day, everyday. I know what its supposed totaste like. When I asked, "is the syrup in here" she very rudely responded "if its listed on the sticker then its in the cup".Crazy response but she had quite literally just missed on of the items listed on the sticker.... i ended up throwing the wholedrink away because her attitude seemed very annoyed and i didnt trust her to not mess with the drink if i got it remade.Extremely fustrating and a waste of my money. I really wanted to give them a shot but my second visit there was so unpleasant. I went for the first time to redeem point from... my Starbucks reward. The young men told me my merch had to be blow $20 but the cup I wanted was over $20, I asked if I could paythe rest on my card but was told no. So I went to look for a cheaper cup and a different cashier as if I was ordering anything(as in to hurry up and pick somethhing) in a rude tone. I guess I was holding up the line but I wasn't even in line. I told herI was trying to find a cup to redeem with my points with. I felt rushed and just grab a cheap cup to be done with it. My nextvisit I went there to buy baked banana bread while I wait for my lyft. A different cashier from before ask if I was ordering ifnot I had to get out. She said "you need to leave. This is a "to-go store". I didn't know what a to go startbuck was but theysaid no one can sit in the Cafe, only pick up their oder and leave. If I had known that I wouldn't have went in there to buyanything. The manager wasn't very nice either but I did get my refund. I dont know if the staff are stressed out but someone whois a paying customer shouldn't be told to get out especially if I already paid for an item. If you don?t get the right barista in the morning your drink is messed up! Went there last week and the Caucasian short Barista... made my pumpkin spice latte and it was excellent! I wanted more that made me come back last Friday and today which was awful Iasked for extra sweet didn?t get it ! It was just awful. I wanted to go back and get my money. Where is that barista? The coffee is fine. It?s what you would expect from a Starbucks. What I didn?t expect and do not tolerate is being called... names and harassed as I enter, by high schoolers congregated outside! This is embarrassing for DC and for the businesses there! The Mayor should clean this city up! Read more

On December 29th I visited this location, and I was baffled on how bad their costumer service was. I was with my family, and we... were the only ones in the shop, and the barista kept rushing us into placing an order as if we were holding the line. She wasnot only rude but aggressive as well. I'm very disappointed at this, specially since am a costumer all around the world withgolden membership. I won't be back to this location ever again. I sincerely hope you keep an eye on your service since it wasone of the main reason Many of us consume Starbucks every day. Read more

The ladies that work here are the nicest most fab people I have ever met. I walked in needing a large order in 10 min for a... special event for my boss and not only did they deliver they went above and beyond! The coffee was great and they even helped mecarry everything out to the car. Thank you Syn, Aijah, and your colleague for making our special guest from England feelwelcomed and right at home with the tea! Great job connecting with the community!
