On our way back from the Denali mountains, we were looking for a place to eat that had not closed. Majority of the restaurants... had closed due to the season change of Anchorage or by 10pm. We were ecstatic to learn they close at 11pm on Saturday and havecheap tacos (1 for $2). My only complaint would be the waiter messed up some of our orders. Taco Tuesday is a happening thing here. Great beer selection both craft and Mexican style. Friendly and excellent staff always... hustling with a smile. Tacos are only 2.00 great price. Great food, good ambiance. It's like having a dinner in a street court in Mexico. Good service, nice waiters and pretty good... prices. Got a steak and shrimp fajitas- 2 plates of food and some tortillas. And a dr.Pepper. Filled me up. Paid 31$ before tip.It was lots of fun. Rough exterior, but unexpectedly delicious on the inside, and I have found everyone I interacted within Alaska to be friendly.... This place was no different. I would give it a 4.5 because they didn't refill my drink which is one of my pet peeves. Thusserve two salsas with one being mild and one quit got. The hot choice was much more flavorful. It was nice to have choices. Ihad the chili verda and the server gave me a good description and compared it to some other dishes. I was very pleased with thechili Verde choice. Read more
