Hi this is Linda Kuhn and I had placed an order for your sweet breads, cookies and sandwiches. I had never eaten or purchased... anything from your establishment before and as your email stated it was a bit confusing( my fault) but I have to say I wasdisappointed and upset. I had asked if you had gift baskets and you said you could make them up or I could purchase platters, Isaid platters were fine but I was expecting everything to be on platters and not stuffed in brown paper bags. I had preorderedand prepaid and of course you didn?t know that I was taking them to my doctors office in anchorage but to wait 30 minutes for myorder is kind of not acceptable even if it is lunch time. May I suggest using your other counter space with a sign that sayspreorders pick up here or maybe install a buzzer or a bell where the bakers are working to let them know someone is there topick up an order or another register ( which I know is a big expense) but happy customers always return. I didn?t know I had achoice of bread for the sandwiches because I never would have ordered white bread. My husband carried out the order because I aman amputee and when I saw the cookies in a paper bag I sent him in to buy more platters ( another 15 minute wait) we finallyleft for anchorage as I had a doctors appt which I was now late for.When we were driving I just decided to hop in back andcheck to make sure that everything was there. Nope there were no sandwiches! it was your mom who dropped the ball.so we turnedaround and yet another 15 minute wait. Which ultimately led to me not being able to be seen that day because I was so late. Wedid leave home 2 hrs before my appt. And lastly having the sandwiches wrapped in white butcher block paper and put in brownpaper bags doesn?t look good,!I would have removed the paper but who carries around gloves. The food was good. The employees were nice. While waiting for the sandwiches we ordered, I wanted to order some coffee and hot... tea but unfortunately the guy behind the counter (owner maybe?) was quite RUDE and treated us like dirt. Maybe having a bad day?I don?t know but we didn?t end up order coffee and because of this I wouldn?t go there again. Read more
