The Wandering Cafe is a (not so) hidden treasure in this city! Their breakfast burritos are killer and the best you can get in... the valley. They make quality espressos every time, and their costumer service is always welcoming. Amanda is the owner and oneof the chefs, she often comes out to the dining area to ask how everything is tasting and to check up on her guests. Recently visited Wasilla for business and dropped in to this gem of a cafe on my way out of town. Ordered the Gypsy veggie... sandwich - it was very tasty and the ingredients were super fresh. Their homemade chips are great too! Cute little cafe withgreat options - I had a hard time picking out what to order. Will definitely go back if I am in town again. Read more

**Update** I've been back several times and it's always amazing. I love the fact they regularly have something new to try! Their... winter salad was phenomenal! Wow. I just have to start with wow. I think this was the best lunch I've ever had anywhere in thevalley. I got the fall salad and the tomato basil soup. The salad was absolutely loaded and the dressing was perfectly balanced.The tomato soup was thick, rich, warm, and exactly what I need to go back out into the chilly fall air. My husband got thePioneer sandwich and immediately demanded I try it. If I could gasp with a full mouth, I would have. Absolutely perfectlybalanced and sturdy while being soft to the bite and easy to chew. The amount of toppings were in the perfect ratio. I dare tosay it was about as close to a perfect sandwich as it comes. The food is so good it's worth driving from town for. I found a newfavorite lunch spot. ???? Read more
