Fine dining! In Waskesiu! It's pricey but the food was amazing and the service top notch and so personable. Had a great seat... on the patio which also accommodated a dog we had with us. We had an excellent meal at Pietro last night. The food was outstanding, particularly the rack of lamb which was perfectly... prepared, cooked and plated. The salad and ravioli appetizers were delicious as were both of our desserts.We have eaten in anumber of Michelin 3 Star restaurants and the lamb was definitely up to that standard. The service was very good with a welltrained staff of experienced and newer people who all worked hard to make the dining experience a treat for everyone at Pietro. Read more

Everything was exemplary. Whether it was the service, the breadsticks, the main dishes or the seating arrangements, every detail... is clearly considered and attended to. We called on short notice on a rainy day today and luckily got the last available table out on the patio (but with a heater and... sheltered from the softly falling rain.) We were so lucky. it was delicious, the service was impressive and our selections werea perfectly matched group of foods which showed all the talent this chef and kitchen have to offer. The Calamari appetizer wasone of the best versions of this classic we have ever tasted; crisp but light and the calamari itself was the most tender. ourmains were the Innisfail Alberta rack of lamb and the Lobster spaghettini. both were amazing. as a side we ordered the smokedscallops. again the amount of lobster was impressive with the hand made pasta. the lamb was outstanding and the scallops wereperfectly done, tender and smokey. a really really impressive supper!!
