Was excited to see it open Tuesday for lunch. Friendly staff - tried the Korean shrimp tacos and Chicken soup specials of the... day and it was amazing ! Spiced perfectly with fresh vegetables and greens. Tried a dessert lemon mochi which was amazing! Goodselection of drinks including kombucha. The upstairs outdoor patio deck was a nice place to have lunch overlooking the green.Highly recommend ! Read more
A miss for me. Ordered online, taco salad and cheesesteak. The salad didn’t come in a fried taco shell (had baked tortilla... underneath) no corn, guacamole instead of avocado, some kind of pickled vegetables, what appeared to be Parmesan cheese. The“Philly cheesesteak” was mixed in some sort of a chipotle like seasoned cream sauce. Both items the menu description wascompletely different than what showed up, I get what they were trying to do, put a unique spin on traditional dishes, but forme both were inedible. Ordered through DoorDash and when I received my food everything was burnt and just didn’t taste good at all. You would think... because of covid that the presentation for outside delivery would be on point by now but not here. It was my first time orderinghere after being recommended and it will also be the last time I order food from here. Never been so disappointed in a foodplace. Maybe it’s the location of Waterbury where they just hire ppl who don’t take pride in the food they make. Not surebut if you want better business your food quality should be the top priority. When I called I spoke with a young manager whodidn’t seem to care that the quality of the food was unsatisfying. Told me to get a refund from DoorDash. Which they don’tdo a full refund often. We came out of the way for this place based on reviews, and were pretty disappointed. The food was not as described, salads... were so basic as to be sad. Not the beautifully described salads in the menu. And portions very small. Items weremissing..plain iceberg lettuce. The staff was barely interested in attending to us, and we had to pester them to make thesmoothie that we ordered. They weren't busy, so no excuses. Would not return. Read more
