Fun tour(inexpensive too), delicious ice cream, and great place to take photos. They have an outdoor playground which is perfect... for kids to run off all the sugar from the ice cream. The tour was $21 for 3 adults and one child. Make sure to check out theflavor graveyard too. Read more

Went on a day mid-week where there were way less people. And in November. So it was much less packed than usual and it was... still somewhat busy. Ice cream is excellent. We took the tour. Tour includes taste testing twice, including a scoop of icecream at the end. You get to see the factory and the ice cream being made. They have an ice cream graveyard which is funny andinteresting to see. Read more

This was high on our list of to-dos in Vermont, but to be honest, I only think it's worth it if you're doing other stuff nearby... (like visiting the town of Stowe or the Cold Hollow cider mill). The shop is cute and has a lot of ice cream options, but youcan still get that in downtown Burlington. You'd come to the museum to learn more about ice cream and how it's made, but thefactory tour is very very short, and you see machinery, but not really much of the process itself. We also watched a 10minvideo about B&Js history, which is interesting, but I'd rather watch that on my own (without making the long trip there). Thereis an additional thing to see here, which is an ice cream cemetery. ???? The idea is interesting and funny, they have a sign forsome of their popular ice cream flavors that got discontinued. All in all, if you're a big fan of B&J's, I'd say it's worthgoing to see. If you're just curious about ice cream making, I don't think it's worth going. We still got some cute and funnyphotos and tried some ice cream, so not a wasted trip. Read more

This was an awesome experience! The ice cream, cookie dough, whipped cream, and brownies were all so fresh! Hands down the best... ice cream I?ve ever had! Lots of cool history, and the Flavor Graveyard is such a jazzy idea too! Friendly staff, and chillenvironment. I went on a weekday so it?s probably busier on other days, but while I was there it was super relaxed. Highlyrecommend! Read more

The original factory! I?ve visited in the past as a kid so it was nostalgic to come back to this place :) If you are looking to... do the factory tour, make sure to buy the tickets online before heading over there! I bought tickets the day of, but it?sdefinitely better to get ahead of it. The tickets were about $6 per person, so it?s not too pricey. Also, note that this placeis not super close to Burlington (about 30-40 min with traffic). The tour is only about 20-30 minutes long, which consists of amovie, factory glimpse, and an ice cream tasting (not a flavor of your choosing). They have a great souvenir shop and a scoopshop outside. The ice cream line was very very long when we went, so be prepared. Overall, it?s a cool experience, but notworth going out of the way to get there. If you?re a hardcore Ben & Jerry?s fan, this is definitely worth the visit. Read more

Fun visit and interesting tour seeing the process for how ice cream is made. Our tour guide was friendly, funny, and open to all... questions. The sample was Sweet Cream & Cookies. The tour, with 2 teenagers, took about an hour. Reservations are needed inadvance as the tour does sell out. For younger kids there are play areas outside they can enjoy while Mom and Dad relax on abench close by. Worth a stop! Read more

They're testing out their tours again after being closed because of COVID. I'd say the tour wasn't particularly worth it for the... price, but the gift shop was nice to get some souvenirs. Everyone working was friendly and helpful, though. I appreciated thepuns. The tour has a video, a small sample of cookie dough, an overview of the manufacturing line, and a small sample of icecream. Save your $6+ fees for a whole ice cream scoop at their scoop shop instead. If you've never seen any factory before thiscould be worth it. I've seen plenty of factory tours and actually worked in a food manufacturing plant before so I thought thistour was a miss. Their flavor graveyard is funny (absolutely shocked Georgia Peach wasn't more popular) and they have a greatplayground for kids. Read more

I was really excited to visit this factory and we even got lucky and scored an experimental tour of the facility on the day of... our visit. The tour was very informative and we had ice cream samples as we went from one room to another. It goes withoutsaying their ice cream was fantastic. I have many fond childhood memories associated with Ben and Jerry?s and it was great tofinally see this place. The founders of the company do a lot of good for the world. It?s also funny to see the flavor graveyard.I would definitely recommend to check it out if you?re in Vermont! Read more
