Was planning to dine at the Pro Pig but didn?t expect a 45 minute wait on a Monday night in late October so went to the... brewery/pub instead. The beer was ok, but not great IMO. I had the American Lager and Belgium Ale. The pours were small, maybe 8oz each. The food was tasty but the portions were tiny. More like tapas than a meal. Expect to order multiple dishes to satisfyif you?re hungry. Read more

Pro Pig is worth the visit! We had 8 in our group and ordered two "Buy the Farm" meals, see attached picture. The meal came with... a couple bottles of bbq sauces and a vinegar bbq sauce. The food was excellent, the drinks were cold, and they had something onthe menus for everyone. Great place to hang out! Read more

We love Prohibition Pig. Best BBQ in Northern Vermont. Do not leave before you get the hush puppies. Super nice staff. Celia the... bartender is great. Are only request is to add a veggie burger! ( but we guess it might off brand!) Read more

Good spot in Waterbury. Some of the best smoked meat I have had. Brisket was on point and the pork was delicious. Get the Mac... and Cheese. That shiz was the bomb! Cheddar was so velvety smooth. The staff was super nice and very friendly, they gave somegreat recommendations on what cheese to get while visiting the Cabot cheese shop. Two thumbs up from me! Read more

We were staying in Waterbury and wanted to try something nearby. We decided to try Prohibition Pig (very strange name I must... admit). The main reason I went to this place is because I saw they serve pork ribs and I wanted to try that for a change. Theplace was fairly busy during our visit but we were served quickly. For drinks, I tried their German beer (forgot the name) butit tasted great. I ordered half rack of ribs. It was just right for me even though I was hungry. My son ordered Poutine whichwas also delicious but the serving size was too much for him. He could not finish it and ended up packing the rest for takeaway. For great beer (and drinks) plus good food, this is highly recommended. Read more

I thought this place was excellent. It was busy even on a Monday, which really says something. I ate the house burger, and man... it was really good. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The cheese was so gooey and the bun was nice andcrispy. The duck fries are soooo good. They were nicely salted, crispy, and paired well with the mayo and ketchup. The beerswere great; so refreshing with nice subtle flavors. Me and my S/O got the Kellerbier, Vanilla Bean Porter, and the ?Don?t HassleMe I?m Local (this one was our favorite). I actually first ordered the Whole Hog dish. It was essentially pulled pork. I wasn?ta fan of it at all, so much that I asked a waiter if I could replace it with something else. Celia, along with her coworkers, were very accommodating and were more than happy to let me order the house burger instead. You definitely should stop by ifyou?re in Waterbury. You won?t be disappointed. Read more
