I've passed by this place many a time and finally decided I'd pop in for lunch one day. Got a delicious grilled cheese with the... roasted red pepper soup. They were offering a butter tart latte that I got with my lunch that I greatly enjoyed. For dessert Itried one of their apple fritters and it was excellent. Served nice and warm with some lovely cinnamon sugar on it. As I wasleaving I grabbed a raspberry lemonade and more fritters to share with those at home. A couple years ago someone told me about the Apple fritters here? So I had to try them? They are amazing obviously! Staff were friendly and dishes were delicious and beautifully prepared. Atmosphere has a cozy decor with a wide open floor plan.... There were more choices for breakfast and lunch dishes than I was expecting. Prices are similar to what Starbucks would chargebut with a more unique menu. I will definitely be going back. Read more

A friend recommended this Waterdown Cafe and it is one of my favourites now. They make the best lattes and have a great... selection of menu items for breakfast or lunch. They are famous for their apple fritters! Helen (the best) and the other staffare so friendly and customer service oriented. Six stars out of five! Beautiful cafe! So much bigger inside than I thought. The apple fritters are a must, they also have pear fritters which would be... delicious. Love the freshly made apple fritters (you can watch them while you wait). Love the environment and atmosphere. They're also... known for their scones. Also enjoy the soup (they have a soup and scone combo, as well as soup and sandwich). They have theirown house blend and espresso based drinks available. I enjoyed their brewed coffee!
