Found this place to be rather unwelcoming. Went with a larger group and asked if we could join tables, answer was simply ?no?... you are not allowed to move them. We ended up some sitting inside, some out which was fine because some like it hot and sunnyand some don?t. Food was quite good. You younger woman brought all the food out to us and was quite cheerful and welcoming.Older woman behind the counter looked quite annoyed that we were there. Even though the food was good we won?t be rushing backthere. Attitude towards your customers is what keeps them coming back, or not. Read more
Excellent ice cream with great flavours?way better than the Nestlé stuff! I had the Norwegian Lox with a caesar salad (topped... with homemade croutons) and it was fabulous! The owner clearly cares about her customers and develops a positive relationshipwith her patrons. Read more
Very quaint and relaxed atmosphere. Def a better spot than Tim Hortons or Starbucks.
Stopped in for a hot beverage and was quite pleased with everything. Lattes were terrific (especially with a salted caramel... shot). Great place to grab a quick coffee. Read more
Having never been here before, I was unaware of how it worked (you order your food and pay at the counter and they bring it to... you). There were no signs indicating this protocol so I entered and stood behind the line, waiting to be seated. The two girlsbehind the counter just stood and stared at me. I asked if I could sit anywhere and then they told me about having to order yourfood at the counter. I did this (was disappointed that they don't do poached eggs or have turkey bacon), got my coffee, and satdown. At this point, the girl yelled at me across the restaurant "You have to pay!". In front of everyone, very embarrassing. Iwas expecting to be brought the bill later. Food was mediocre. Would have expected more kindness and direction as I was anewbie. Lovely place to grab coffee. Enjoyed my chai latte. There?s a small seating area indoors as well as a nice patio. Mainly... offering savouries, but a few sweets are available (brownies, muffins and tarts).. friendly staff Read more
Simple but delicious menu! We enjoyed Cheddar and Bacon Omelette, Jitterbug Breakfast, and Greek Salad. The sausage and omelette... were flavourful, the whole wheat and rye roasts were crunchy and fresh, and so were the salad. Highly recommended and we willdefinitely visit again! Read more
