45 minutes to get eggs sausage and toast. Waitresses work hard but kitchen is very very slow. Over med eggs came out over hard.... Home fries not browned. Onions on home fries gross, not caramelized. Unimpressed. Read more
I have been there four times in the past two months and more disappointed each time. Chicken and biscuits were cold and needed... microwaved. Next the hot meatloaf sandwich had patches of salt in it. Then the hash browns were burnt and inedible. Today I wentand the tuna melt was burnt. When I complained about the sandwich they proceeded to argue with me and refused to take it off thebill. This diner is a need to visit spot if you are looking for a place to eat, or are passing through the area--quite simply: it is a... staple in Waterford dining. The food is good, the service is great, and the wait is impressive for small timing dinerstaff. The only thing to watch for is this location closes at 3 pm on the weekdays, hours that are quite odd, especially as itadvertises "breakfast, lunch, and dinner". This isn't entirely their fault, as we all have felt in some way, covid has forcedus to leave far within our means, and this goes doubly for local businesses. Their food isn?t ?wonderful?. I think if you were going for home cooked it?s great. My beef and potatoes were barely edible in... my opinion. Their fried foods seem safe though.
