Second time ordering at the drive through. Both times my sandwich was missing a topping that I ordered. If you want your sub... made correctly then go inside and watch them make it. I love the convenience of a drive thru but not if they can't get my ordercorrect. I wont go back. I would rather go to the butler store. At least they won't miss anything. Read more

Ordered on the app today, wait time was 20min, show up to get my order and was not greeted by any of the 3 staff there, waited... 5min before someone decided to ask if I had a mobile order then they proceeded to tell me they got busy and hadn't even startedon my order. Everyone knows that the Waterloo Subway is the only "fast food" stop I town. If they had ANY competition, they would be out of... business! They are slow, not friendly, very greedy with toppings and the place isn't kept real clean. Tonight, we stopped beforea meeting and got 2 sandwiches (only to save time). We would have been better off getting a ham sandwich from the gas station.The meat was nearly frozen, the sweet onion sauce was put on in 2 thin lines, the lettuce was almost arranged to cover the breadin one thin layer like a jigsaw puzzle and the other vegetables were placed in a thin line down the center of the sandwich. Iasked if that was all we get and the kids (they only have 2 there at any time and are always under 20 years old) just looked atme like I was speaking a foreign language. We've had less than desirable visits before. But, this has made this our last visitto this location. Sad, we live less than a minute drive away and will be driving 15 minutes, to grab anything for a fast meal.They get one star, only for the lack of lower rating options. If you want a sandwich, go to Dollar General next door and buylunch meat and bread. This will be much less disappointing and cheaper! Further, the website to let them know how they did, isonly a shopper's survey and has nothing to do with subway. I stop here for lunch quite often, and have never had a particularly negative experience. This location gets SUPER busy during... lunchtime (options in teeny tiny Waterloo are lacking), but as long as you come before 11:30 or after 12:30, your wait should beminimal. The ingredients in my sandwiches have always been fresh, and the employees are attentive and friendly. When I tell them"LOTS OF BANANA PEPPERS" they don't skimp. The building itself is quite nice and has a little fireplace. I'm happy to have sucha nice option near my office! Read more
Very cool Subway. Nicely decorated, nice staff and very clean. 4 stars are because there was no baby changing table in either... the Men's or the Women's restroom. As we were going here to get food during a road trip with a toddler, we ended up having tochange her at our booth. Not fun. Other than that, definitely a cute place. Read more
This is the only subway we go to. Very friendly and our subs are always fresh and made exactly how we order them.
