Love this location. Food is great, people are nice and drinks are weak like normal apples around the US. I'll have to... encourage the managers here to encourage the employees to practice good hygenes, because our waitress had oil mechanic nails.Nevertheless her personality overrode that flaw. Stay on top of hygenes and give better strength of drinks. Read more

I don't usually review but Applebees is going the way of most restaurants. They hire staff and obviously don't train them or... supervise. We had burgers with fries tonight. The burgers were so greasy they were inedible , the buns were burnt,, and wedidn't get our fries at all and this is not the first time. If I am going to pay that much for dinner for my family it should begood and you should make me want to come back. I gave you 2 stars because I am being generous. Read more
Building interior is in disrepair. Silverware was full of water spots and needed to be wiped off before using. Most importantly... though, the food was not very good at all. One good thing is that our server was very nice and attentive. The Cedar FallsApplebee's is the same distance from my home so that is where I'll go from now on because it is far superior in every aspectexcept for the the servers, which as I said, were the only good thing about the Waterloo establishment. Waitstaff were very friendly and helpful. Food is standard Applebee's taste. I do feel that this location needs a total... remodel/update. The ambiance is tired, used and old feeling. Not the normal fun filled atmosphere. Read more

We shop in Waterloo alot. This was always where we at. Last time we were there it was awful. We ordered appiti,ers and drinks... with our meal. Didn't get our water. Brought our appetizers with no plates or Silverware or napkins. Had to ask for eeverything. Only saw our Waitress when we arrived and when we got our check. Ordered a fancy blended Christmas drink that waswatery. Got our food and drinks at the same time. Will.probably not go there again Read more
