Excellent frozen custard, I plan on coming back to try the Chicago dog. Edit: I came back here to try the burger, fries, and... cheese curds. The service was quick and all the food was fresh and hot. The Freddy's in Waterloo goes above and beyond! Our order was messed up when it was delivered by Door Dash. I called Freddy's,... and one of the employees was going off her shift--she said, "I'll just drop off another order to your home"... then she broughtit over and wouldn't even take a TIP!!! Wow. OK , I get this is another fast food burger joint. But the smash burger concept is a fun twist. And these smash burgers are... done really well. They have the right ground beef mix for a good crispy edge burger. The custard is also pretty spot on. Pretty light on the onion rings when substituted for the shoe string fries.
