Went in to find out there were ALL younger people working (messing around) food area not keep clean... Got up to order waited... for the goofing-around to stop. To be informed that it would be about 20 min. For any rice.. I said I would wait.... about 5minutes went by with more loud messing around for the check out person to come out from the back to inform me "He had to prep.The rice and then cook it & it was going to take much longer... I left. As I was walk out another couple walked in and saw thefood preparation area and turned and walked out much faster then I did........ Not a good sign.... Read more
My first time coming to Pancheros left a lot to be desired. On a positive note, the size of the burrito was great, it is... inexpensive, and they have a wide selection of toppings to choose from. Unfortunately, the burrito was only warm at best. Thestaff also looked completely out of it and nobody seemed excited to work there. Read more
This was my first time at Pancheros. It was not a great experience to say the least. The restaurant was relatively clean.... However, one of the big problems was with the service. The workers messed around in the middle of making our food and did notmake eye contact at all. When they finally did talk to the customers they mumbled and didn't listen well, leaving myself andothers having to repeat things often. In addition to the staff's behavior, the food portions were way miniscule compared to thepictures on the menu and upon biting into it some of the food was cold and underdone. These are the key things that define afast food service. If you aren't at least able to show a good service then be able to make your food correctly. Very disappointed in the service. Came in yesterday and there was no rice, came back today and their tortilla compressor is out.... If it?s not one thing it?s another. Employees behind counter are either just standing around or on their phone. We expectbetter. It?s only this location. Read more

I love Pancheros. But the Waterloo AND Cedar Falls location have been having consistent issues for a long time now. When I have... food delivered, it?s rarely hot or warm - more room temperature or slightly warmer. They also often forget items I?ve paid forand ordered. It?s absolutely frustrating that it happens 9 times out of 10. They need to check the receipt and bag to make surecontents match the order. This is a reoccurring issue. Read more
I ordered a chicken quesadilla and this is what it looked like. They burnt the tortilla and hardly put any cheese in it.... *update* (after a handful of bites, I found a long hair in my food which obviously ruined my appetite.) I also got a burritowhich also had a burnt tortilla. They were low and almost out of all the toppings and instead of getting more, they barely putanything on my burrito. The guacamole looked like it had been sitting out for days. I can see from other reviews that this hasbeen an issue for quite some time but there has not been anything done about it. Lately I've been disappointed. The two locations I usually go to have been lacking on cleanliness and the servers are not... friendly and engaging with the customers. They are heads down. The consistency in the food is off too. I really like Pancherosbut I don't go there as much as I used to. You never know what you are going to get. Read more
