This was our first time experiencing a Perkins Restaurant. We made a stop here for breakfast during brunch hours. They had a... great selection of food and dessert. They even had a buy three get three on cookies, muffins and brownies. We ordered a skilletand a breakfast burger with tomato basil soup which was delicious. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had everythingwe needed. Bathrooms were clean which is great when you?re in a road trip. We would definitely stop here again if we were in thearea. The waitress was great. She was attentive and accurate with our orders. The food was good and had good portions for the money. ... That was the good part of our visit. Two sets of silverware when unwrapped looked like they had not seen the dishwasher prior tobeing placed for service. When my young daughter needed to use the restroom it was disgusting! Smelled like a portable toiletin the summer heat. Both of our complaints were brought to the attention of the manager. We've eaten at other Perkins andalways had good experiences. We'd like to chalk this up to a bad day and hopefully improved upon. Read more
I don?t recommend this place. In all honestly.. I?ve never been so disappointed. I?ve been to THIS Perkins 4 times, I?ve lived... in iowa for 6 years now.. The first time was absolutely great but after that it was downhill from there. Today though was mystopping point. Sunday, August 7th, 2022. The whole restaurant was slow, possibly 3 tables sitting. 4 waitresses total thatnight, it took her around 5+ minutes just for her to ask if I had needed a refill on my drink, while she had walked past threedifferent times. She never asked if I needed a Togo box and never asked if we had wanted the check. What?s funny is she onlycame to us when I asked another waitress for a box. Read more
Very good service. Clean and pleasant. Only complaint is my steak skillet was supposed to have onions and peppers. There was a... very small amount. The dish could stand alone with enough vegetables and no gravy/sauce. The gravy was very salty and took awayfrom the great flavor of the meat. Read more

Do not eat there! Place is dirty bathrooms today it had fecal matter on the floors in the women's restroom. There was vomit... outside by the front door. There was no staff had to wait 10 minutes to be seated in an empty place. There were dirty dishes ontables everywhere. NO Manager! I waited an hour for a half if a BLT and a slice of pie. Water looked like it came from the dirtydish water. Waitress left and never came back! Don't go there! Read more
