Honeymoon dinner. We had a cider and Portico punch. Both were really good. Next was the shrimp cocktail and bread. We were... hoping for more than 4 shrimp, but it was really good. For the main course I had carbonara and the wife had a salad and fries.We also shared a lobster tail. My carbonara was pretty good. Lobster tail needed a bit more seasoning. Salad had way too muchdressing, and the fries had NO seasoning. At this point we were still kinda hungry so we ended up getting dessert: a wisedecision. My steak was pretty bad. Even after I told the waitress, she wasn?t phased. Grizzly steak, awful brussel sprouts, too soft... potatoes made for a sad 40th anniversary celebration. For the price we paid, that steak should have melted in my mouth. We willnot return. Shortly after eating, I vomited profusely. The next day, full fledged food poisoning with vomiting, diarrhea,chills, sweats, ugh! Never again. They should pay us back the nearly $200 we spent. Read more

The atmosphere is nice. I got the prime strip. like many other reviews, I can't understand why it was so tough. I ordered it... with garlic butter as others had warmed of poor seasoning . The wait staff seemed poorly trained. they are just not up to thecaliber of what the restaurant is trying to be. I would give the place 3.5. mainly because everything was not up to the pricethey charged. Had it been 25 % cheaper...then the place is a little over 4 stars. Don't be afraid to eat here...but keepexpectations on the ground. still had a lot of fun...the drinks are solid. Read more

We had a phenomenal meal at Portico. The salad with creamy balsamic, the scallops were cooked to perfection and the tomato olive... sauce with the bread?so tasty. The server was attentive and we had the best service. When we asked the server to thank the cheffor a great meal, the chef came to the table so we were able to thank him in person. Great atmosphere. This was my second visit to the restaurant. I had dinner at 5:30 and my steak was not good. There was no... seasoning, I didn?t even taste the salt- if there was any. The lobster tail was good. I really expected a $60 steak to be tenderand tasty. Really disappointed. Read more

I surprised my wife for our anniversary with an overnight at Del Lago Resort specifically to eat at Portico as Fabio Viviani is... her favorite celebrity chef. It did not disappoint. When I made the reservation the hostess asked me if it was a specialoccasion and when we arrived we received a complimentary glass of champagne. The service was outstanding as was the food.
